Ring group

Hi,

may i know if we can setup a ring group which only be active during a period of time..e.g (8:00 a.m to 7:30 p.m) on mitel system? after 7:30 p.m we will press forward button to others extension?

use night service 1 and set up a automatic night service to switch it 7:30 ?  So in days ervice 1 ring group, in night 1 the other ring group. You could also manually switch but only by dialing as night service has to be dialed you can't put it under a key for dome strange reason which I have never been able to fathom....

You have to route from another point like a huntgroup though, since the ring groups don't appear in the call rerouting table.

Nightservice can be dialled. you need to setup as a (CDE pref) speedcall where you dial the service activation code +1 for night 1 and +0 for day, so for example the code in the feature access codes is *305 you would dial *3051 for Night 1 and *3050 for day. Make sure the device who can dial it has the COS option active else you'll get not allowed in your display. Scheduling it is easier ofc :P
