3300 ICP can't connect to a remote 3300 ICP
« on: October 26, 2007, 04:30:01 PM »
Hi All,

I have two 3300 ICP in different locations, there is always an alarm that says:

ICP Comms Cards (Alarm level major)

I have searched the whole net and there is no information about that alarm  >:(

Looking at the logs, there's another error that says:

IP trunk link to icp 001 (Location) failed, link could not be established.

Internet connection is ok in both sides, unfortunately I'm new at Mitel, trust me, I have read all manuals and I just can't find what's wrong, can someone give me a hand with this ?

Thanks in advance

George

This alarm indicates that IP trunking has failed or that the E2T card is not functioning. On your 3300 on the command line type the following:

RMES VERIFY PBX 1 LAN

If the connection fails it means one of two things. The configeration of your IP trunks is wrong, or the network is not allowing this connection.

I hope this helps
