I just heard from my vendor that Mitel has released the firmware 2.1.0.34

Does anyone tested it if it solve the problem of disconnection problem regarding to the ICMP redirect?

I am not sure if it would bring any side-effect for the new firmware.

I have not heard of any new firmware release myself however after extensive work on this with Mitel Engineering it appears that 5330s and above ignore the redirect and continue working fine. The crash is exhibted on lower models 5312s and 24s in my experience.

For now on,

There are some concern,

1. If the firmware of the IP phone is upgraded, is it necessary to have certain update to the PBX controller?
2. Since our company is using both 5212 and 5312 IP phones, I am not sure if the 5212 phone would cause other problems if the PBX system need to upgrade.
3. Is that work fine with my existing PBX System if the IP phone is upgraded through another PBX.

Does anyone tried the above case before :-\ ?
