SIP trunk hold retrieval

All, please see below. this is not on my site but as we use the same SIP provider I was approached for input. However we only use the SIP for outgoing so haven't experienced ourselves. Any info or thoughts would be good.

They have a problem when they put customers on hold. They cannot get them back and the customer does not hear
their music on hold.

Yes early answer is allowed in I believe 4.1 and later possibly 4.0 and later software release.

Thanks Brantn, i am due to upgrade my controller next week so should be able to test. I will check what version they are running on their controller

Had the same issue at one of our sites using Gamma SIP trunks. Turned out we had to upgrade the controller to minimum R9 and everything started to work again.
