Never mind I found out what they mean, I have no idea how this happened.

I think it means someone didnt follow the upgrade procedure ;D

No, it means that after 28 hours the software installer still hadn't finished installing the software and all kinds of chaos insued. It was the only one out of 34 I upgraded this weekend that had any issues.

I ended up having to reprogram this controller because once it did come back up with rel 9 on it every restore attempt would fail.

I guess Mitel's idea of a successful SI is 33 out of 34.
