How to Remove Empty Keys
« on: January 10, 2022, 10:35:13 AM »
Is there a way to delete empty keys?  For example, in the attached picture is there a way to remove empty Keys on Button 6 and Buttons 12-17?  This would prevent having spaces between keys causing the user to scroll through empty screens to locate keys.

Thanks,
Jason

Perhaps.  Export the keys for the device, move the keys to the buttons you want places there and replace with keys that say Not Assigned.  Then import them back in.

Thanks Ralph.  I never even thought about exporting, cleaning, then adding back in.

Yep, export, clean up in Excel, import.

I've found that you should only import what you're changing to keep from breaking working things.

Also, if you're moving DSS keys around it best to delete them then re-import them in their new spots, it's very picky about only allowing 1 DSS appearance of a DN per phone.
