mitel 3300 new analog lines

Hello people,

I have posted a message here a few months back about connecting to the system. thanks for all the help i was given.

I have another query. I am a Panasonic telephone engineer so am used to a different system.

I have this mitel 3300 system which i have created users, hunt groups and so on. however i have 2 issues which i am pulling my hair out with.

I need to program in ddi's and i need to program in analog trunks to a specific extension or hunt group.

help on both of these would be of great help to me,,,,,,

Hi, In the 3300 you have programmed up your trunks and all trunks are setup against Trunk Attributes(sw 4.1).
Make sure that you are using different Trunk Attributes for analoge and Digital. For Ananloge you should define Day/Night1/Night2 answer point. For the digital trunks it's depending on what you are getting in, but the Absorb should have something in. Nothing to absorb means 0

ok i think i understand. i will look at the menus and go from there. i will let you know how i get on.

ok so i have managed to do it . i wasnt setting the analog trunk numberor linking it through to an ext number or hunt group number. anyway it appears to be working now. Thanks for the help.
