Guys,

I just want to clarify for future readers.

The 6940 has 6 pages of 16 keys; 6x16=96. It will only show additional pages as you program keys beyond the limit of the current page.

The M695 has 28 keys and starts off as a SIP Device that needs to download its firmware to work properly.

You can have up to 3 M695's on a single 69xx phone which will provide an additional 84 keys; 3x28 = 84.

IF you are going to daisy chain them you need to flash each one individually prior to that or there may be issues; found that out the hard way.

Thanks,

TE

Thanks for your reply. The DSS keys do show the green / red indicators on the screen, but the actual physical LED's remain unlit. Also, the 3 buttons below the screen have no functions. It appears that the HCI Monitor COS is enabled. Maybe I have a defective unit.

So the 6940s are working OK for you, but the 6920s are not?

Are they hotdesk users? Maybe the base set CoS for the 6920s should be checked as well as the user CoS?

I only have the PKM attached to one 6940 to test and I can put the DSS keys on it but the physical LEDs  don't light and 3 bottom buttons have no function. I haven't tried the PK on a 6920 yet. We don't currently have any hotdesk users setup so that's not an issue.

Does the M695 have LED's? I thought it was only displayed on the LCD no the button.

I don't have an M695 so I'm only speculating.

The bottom 3 buttons have no function when connected to a MiVB.

When programming the buttons, does the layout start at the bottom left and count upwards, or does it start at the top left and work its way down?
Trying to program one on a remote site and i don't have access to the hardware.
Customer bought their own, and have attached to the phone.
But i'm not sure where to start programming the buttons.
