OPS sync to SDS Sync
« on: September 27, 2010, 02:10:45 PM »
Hi to all, we are going to install MCD4.1 and we read that OPS is no longer supported for sync and cluster configuration.
What is the easiest way to migrate from OPS sync to SDS?

We have 2 3300 with resiliency configured.

I have also a 2nd question: can i use SDS in order to configure ACD path for resiliency?

Thank you

The process would be as follows:

1.Upgrade to MCD 4.0 (NB: all systems on the network need to be upgraded to exactly the same revision of MCD 4.0).

2.Review all systems on the network and ensure there are no SDS conflicts and make any config changes.  (this would be your migration pre-check)

3.Initiate Common Data Distribution

4.Upgrade to MCD 4.1

Also ACD paths cannot be made resilient, different paths would need to be configured on each 3300 with relevant routing in between.

Hope this helps

As Mitel 100 says, ACD paths (themselves) are not resilient. Its the Agent group and the agents (hotdesk) that are resilient. You have to mirror the path programing on the seconday swicth but the path has a different directory number to the original
