The instruction is clear enough in the manual.  Unfortunately, I can't find an example display that tells me which buttons to push when my screen is all washed out to begin with.  When I push the blue menu button, I can't tell where to go from there.

I have not worked on a SX200 in years and can't remember the solution to this problem  There are a couple of rooms in a hotel that the MWI Lamps are on but there are no messages waiting.

It may have been working but no one was logged in to the queue. Would have to see what that defaults to.

I am not sure what ChatGPT is or why you would use that for this, but the manual and pressing F1 inside of programming are your best bet.

As for how you did it that is correct, administrators are alerted for any alarm in the system.

You could also send out an email for Critical Alarms which would also be a way to alert them since there isn't an audible associated with either one.

I was trying to figure out how to make the message for emergency calls appear on a new phone I installed for a maintenance personal at a Mitel MiVoice 250 site.

In "MiVoice Office 250 Installation and Administration Guide" - Emergency Calls: Emergency calls, by default, use the first local trunk group and will not be sent using node trunk groups on other nodes. However, when ARS is used to place an emergency call, Route Group 1 is used even if it contains nodes. This means that the network can access a trunk on a node other than the user


In "Features and Programming GuideWhen a user places an emergency call, every administrator in the network receives an emergency alarm.

I changed the Device Flag - Administrator to YES and that I believe should get me what I want.

If others have more info/details that would be helpful, please chime in!

I believe it is a Business Schedule. This was setup by a previous colleague. We use Mitel YourSite Explorer to set the schedule.

They are closed again tomorrow due to a public holiday. If I just adjust the schedule or remove it then that should work and bounce to after hours? 9700 is the number that goes to Reception.

So if a customer calls up the main number between those hours, presses 2 for Sales it will go to Reception and if its an enquiry for a new vehicle then then forward it to a ring group that rigns the Sales Phones. I hope this helps

I'm not sure I understand - it says the call rang sales at 1pm on Saturday when it wasn't open, but below it looks like they are open 8:30-5 on Saturday.

Are you setting the schedule up in a call director or business schedule?

Hello

I have an issue where for some reason when you ring this main number at this Dealership and press option #2 for Sales, even though we have the correct setting at Night Service on the phone console, the call still rings for the caller instead of playing the afterhours message. This happened on Saturday at 1PM where the Dealership wasn't open. However someone had called through and the phone was still ringing.

I checked last night and called after 5:30pm and pressed 2 for Sales and it played the After Hours message. Was there something else I had to set for Night Service or is there somewhere in MiVoice Business I can check?

Here is the schedule I have set and confirmed with the Dealership. For sales I have it set from Monday to Friday: 8:30am to 5:30pm and Saturday is 8:30am to 5pm and if a customer calls then it should go to Sales

But I had the Night Mode on so I am unsure how it didn't play the After Hours message.

Any ideas?

Can you go into more detail as how you got to ftp the firmware files

Did you use the FileZilla software and ftp to the Ip address of the Mi Voice Business using the systems username and password?

what was your port number

or if you can the path to the 6930.st file

And what app did you use for tftp

as others have mentioned, tftdp32 or tftpd64 is a great tool. There is also Pumpkin but it is purely for tftp and sometimes fails with large transfers.
