A mailbox can be the same as the path ldn, but it will not provide any message indication via a lamp. That would be why I mentioned setting it up with a callflow that just sends it to the group mailbox desired

Could create a mailbox 1111 with a callflow that has the option to record to the desired shared box. There are likely other ways to get where you want but don't know the full ACD path and requirements.

With ip pms, system has only one address and yes the pms system should send it to address and port depending upon vm or pms and perhaps listen on smdr. Therefore anything intermediate should handle any changes required

Are there any other options within this dial out of queue? Any default action in some timeout? Ask because what you say should work unless dtmf isn't recognized IMHO.

Yes end user can do a long key press to change a 6900 series phone, but an admin approach to mass changes might be my suggestion

So, it should be when having answered a call on an analog extension and trying to transfer, hookflash dial extension number, remain on line for supervised transfer or hang up for blind. Might look at ONS/OPS Circuit Descriptors for hookswitch timing and verify COS but would assume they should be good.
Certainly verifying the process with a buttset or 2500 set should isolate the issue.

Are these sip extensions connected to the IVR? I would assume the & represents a switchhook flash followed by some pause before dialing. Have you tried any emulation of the process via a buttset?

Would think message center as a keypress option would work, on nupoint you would enter the mailbox followed by *. Not sure it operates the same but do think so.
