Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / Allowing email from Mitel 3300 through Exchange 2003
« on: October 12, 2012, 12:22:30 PM »
We are in the process of having a Mitel 3300 installed, but we are experiencing difficulties having voice mail messages sent to our email system. I have been advised that we need to allow the Mitel 3300 send emails through our Exchange 2003 server.
The messages we are getting in the Mitel logs are:
Unexpected Result->Cvm_server_tbl::GetLocalRecord() Failed to find a local record. Check the NVM Servers table to make sure that there is a local record
CSMTPClientMsg::ProcessMessage - Email Server may require a Domain Name in order for it to deliver this message: From: Message: V507825d7.002
CSMTPClientMsg::EstablishSMTPSession Connect socket of <MITEL IP Address> to server <Email Server address> failed: errno <60> Look into IP programming in ESM menu System Options. If IP is OK then server is not ready.
Can anybody provide assistance on what settings I need to change to allow these emails to be sent to email?
