anyone running into the same issue?
we only want to allow tls1.2 on out MBG servers. but softphones break if we do.

suggestions welcome

where you able to solve this?
we have exactly the same situation with a new mbg setup.
it is setup with 2 NICS and should handle TW phones over the internet, and a sip trunk. When using a TW Phone, calls in and outbound over the sip trunk are perfect. When using an office phone, so routed thru the MBG, we have exactly the issue you describe.

Funny thing is that we do have this setuo working in another datacenter. Settings are all teh same, and there we have no issues.....

thanks Ralph, I thought the same actually, I have read tons of docs and google posts, I caanot find much usefull. I only find referrals to KPML.

KPML is not configured, fo you think it could be related?

Hi

we have an issue with calls being disconnencted over our sip trunk. The provider thinks he has find the issue,

appparantly the DTMF Payload type being switched from 100 to 101,this has led to a large number of re-invites and eventually the call is being dropped.
the providrer wanst us to change on our Mitel 3300 side payload to type:101.

anyone knows where to change this? We use an MBG to connect to teh sip provider.

thanks, we are going to run the wizard. first we need to clear up a couple of 1000 problems, reported by the wizard. mainly names and phones inconsistent between the MAS and Micollab DB.

strange thing is when we are doing so many changes it looks like the MAS servers somethings goes into stress mode.

softphones suddenly don't  work anymore. only after refresh line monitor cache.

good to hear from you!. yes we would like to go to the features in v7. But fist we would like to run the wizard on v6. V7 seems at this moment to new. Maybe wait 6 months..

Do you see issues if we integrate the Micollab DB now in v6 and enable SPP. and upgrade to v7 together with the vmcd's within 6 months??

Reason on short term is that we pursue single sign on for AWV, UCA, MAS Portal and AD provisioing.

sounds good, thats what we want. provision from AD with the IDS connector.

so we have a v6 MAS, and want to upgrade to v7.

would we merge the DB before the upgrade or after, or does it not matter.

when we would run it now? no issue to expect?

Hi

we are creating users on the vMCD and sync them to the MAS Micollab client server. Now e want to reverse the process and create users on the MAS. Then sync from the MAS to the vMCD.

since the micollab DB is separate from the users and devices on the MAS, the documentation tells us to merge them with the intregration wizard on the MAS server

Dis somebody already do this, what are your experience by doing this?

I hope that the next version of the client resolves this issue.
its not a config problem, more a bug of the client

Hi

same question here. We have always created accounts on the vMCD., then synced to the MAS. This is still the way of working.
We want to enable IDS on the MAS server for authentication only.

second step could be provisioning from MAS / AD to the vMCD.

has somebody already implemented this?

This can be a software bug,, reboot of the primary controller can fix it.
