I need this same setup. I managed to make this work with a system forward and manual forward but I can not get the DND to override the system forward immediate. Any suggestions?

I'm working on my first phone manager installation.  Everything shows licensed, but the outlook part of the client is missing.  Any suggestions?

MiVoice Office 250/Mitel 5000 / Re: Internal Calls

I'm going to setup a phone and test it. I remember a customer that previously had a Panasonic and they wanted the feature of the phone automatically grabbing a trunk when they went off hook. I set all the phones up as house phones and I remember having to teach them to press a intercom button to make a internal call. So maybe if I remove the intercom button dialing internal isn't possible in house phone mode, but I'm not sure without testing it. Then I could add appropriate dss/page keys.

Tech Electronics-Thanks for the suggestions: for a moment I thought about doing this and making it restricted instead of normal, but then I think that would block all feature codes etc.

MiVoice Office 250/Mitel 5000 / Internal Calls
« on: January 02, 2016, 09:08:42 AM »
Hello Everyone.  I have a 200 background, but have been installing 5000's for a number of years.  I know unlike the 200 and MCD, the 5000 really isn't designed as a multi-tenant system. However, the 5000 is very flexible and I know we create work arounds often that aren't in the manual. I have a customer that has two distinct businesses and they are running both off of the 5000.  For all intents and purposes I have setup the two companies with totally distinct CRA's, hunt groups etc.  For security purposes due to the nature of the business they want to block a company's extensions from dialing the other.  In this case 100's from calling 200's and vise versa. From my research I see online that most techs say this is impossible, but I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts on this. I would think this mechanism would be possible somewhere in programming and if it was this system could really be used for multi tenants as there are other work arounds for afterhours forwarding etc. Thanks.

MiVoice Office 250/Mitel 5000 / 5000 Trunk Key LED on 5312 and 5340
« on: June 01, 2012, 05:41:34 PM »
We recently installed a 5000 with 5340 and 5312 IP sets at a doctor's office. The customer has 5 telephone lines; I made trunk keys for these lines. When there are multiple calls on hold they want to differentiate the call the particular person placed on hold. For instance, with the 200ICP the individual's Trunk LED is flashing green instead of orange. Am I missing a flag or is there any work around on this? It does get confusing for them when multiple calls are placed on hold.
