I get the message "The number refers to a Station."

I'm sure you already know from the message but it ext is an Analog phone. I probably should have but didn't think of mentioning that earlier.

To search the Multiline Set Group Assignment doesn't the ext have to be a member of a group?

The ext that I am trying to search for to see if it is on a set key is not a member of any group.

Right.
Specifically I have a key that is programmed as a "key system" key with an ext number that is located elsewhere at the site.

And I would like to search for that ext number by typing in the number that I am looking for and selecting recall.

Unless I am looking in my SX2000 in the wrong place for that what I found close to what you wrote is located in the Mulitiline Set Forms and is called Mulitiline Set Key Assignment.
I attached a pic of the highlight form that I was looking at. I was not able to find the Mulitiline Appearance Groups form.
If the Multiline Appearance Groups form is the reverse lookup of the Mulitiline Set Key Assignment form then great, I am just unable to find it.

That is kind of what I am looking for but the kind of search that I would like to perform would be the reverse version of that lookup.

I have not been able to find a way to do the kind of search that I am looking to do looking through all of the documents that I have so I don't think that it is possible but I am hoping.

Is there a way to search the key assignment of the phones and not individually?

I have an extension that is not showing up in ops manager but the controller sees it and I can find it everywhere on the controller. There are no reported errors anywhere in ops manager or on the controller. So, I was planning on deleting the extension and re-adding in hopes that it will show up in ops manager however I know that it is listed in the keys of another phone however I don't know which one and I am not at the site that is having this trouble so I would like to be able to run a search to find that what ext's have that number listed in their key assignments.

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / Change smdr log size
« on: December 05, 2013, 08:59:26 AM »
Our current log size on our 3300 MXe holds 20,000 entries which only translates to about 1day and a half maybe 2 days worth of calls. I changed the log file size to 40000 entries but did not change the Ram size and did not restart, did not find that it was required in the Help Docs. The change is noted in LOGSYS ATTRIBUTES SMDR but it still is only reporting 20000 log entries when I run LOGSYS READ SMDR ALL MATCH ext.

I also forgot to add that I ran DBMS CHECK FULL with no error found.

Mitel SX200, SX2000, and older SX platforms / Kinda ghost extensions
« on: November 22, 2013, 05:00:49 PM »
I have this problem on both kinds of our mitel controllers. We have primarily SX2000's also some MXe3300's.

I have an extension on a 3300 that will not show up anywhere on the controller except on the "Telephone Directory Assignment" page and also shows up on Ops Manager.

Vise Versa I also have a 2000 that sees a different extension when I st ext and also locate ext but Ops Manager does not see it.

These 2 issues create some wonderful Sync issues between our 19 controllers.

That's what I thought and was afraid of.

Thank you for confirming.

Mitel SX200, SX2000, and older SX platforms / ONS line card state
« on: November 22, 2013, 09:09:45 AM »
Is there a command to check the state of the lines on an ONS line card that gives the details that running the STATE command on a DNI card gives?

Specifically what I am looking for is a command that will show if there isn't a device connected to the PLID in the same way that "out of service" could mean for a line on a DNI card. I do know that "out of service" can be something else than a device not connected and that it simply means that the line on that card is programmed but it doesn't sense a device connected to it.

Thank you for pointing to check on the CEID's. Ops Man has all the the CEID info correct so I started looking at the individual controllers and that is where the trouble is.
I already had a lot of fixing to do with our system, because of a lack of attention in decades past to now and I guess this just adds to it.

Mitel SX200, SX2000, and older SX platforms / Directory Sync error
« on: July 18, 2013, 01:25:00 PM »
When I perform a telephone directory sync using Ops Man I get an error message saying that I need to check the logs.
about 1/3 of my controllers aren't fully syncing. They seem to sync other information that I change but one thing, not sure what that is. 6 out of 19 are not syncing.
I will attach pics of the other 2 but they are 3300's.

I did check the CEID's. They are configured correctly.

I used the command "logs re so newest 10" to get this info. If there is a different log that anyone would like me to check please let me know, this is the only log that I know of.

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / Re: Conference Phone options
« on: December 14, 2012, 04:15:12 PM »
Bumping this.

Main question was not answered.

I would like to know as well.

Are there any options for conference phones out there other than the Polycom phones or the Mitel side saucer?

Got it figured out.

This circuit was pointing down to our administration building and that circuit was forwarded to get its timing from from an old building that no longer has a T1, it was converted to an IP based 3300 controller which we are going to do to all buildings eventually. This was changed before me. Changed the circuit to an active circuit and so far no slips. They have yet to have anyone attempt to fax them to test for sure but there are no longer any slips.

I just checked this morning. Slips are still there. I had already replaced all cables that could be replaced.
The only good thing that happened so far was that the pbx finally auto selected its sync source yesterday but today again it is saying available and looking at dtstat it appears it went back to sync status available soon after I checked when it auto set to sync source.

Logs from checking this morning.
