Hi

I have a 5312 IP phone where the message "USE Superkey to send PIN message wont go away" appears on LCD.  I followed tips from web which says you simply enter the set registration code: *** in my case followed by the extension number you want to use then Superkey.   So I enter ***5024<Superkey>  and I do see a message briefly, registering I think it was but then I get returned to same message.

I tried manually adding the MAC address on the back of the unit to the 5024 entry in User and Device Configuration in MCD and also removing it, but that made no difference.

Any ideas?  Could it be that somebody else has already used 5024?  Nut then I tried other ids and get same thing?

In a situation where auto-answer is set, is it possible on the Mitel to set an audible tone to play before connecting call to agent.  This is for inbound calls.  Is this possible?  and if so how to configure?

Hello

My understanding on licence usage is as follows.

Each physical device requires an IP User licence.  This licence is consumed as soon as the physical device is configured in the system?  Or only when device is in service?

A hotdesk agent or traditional agent consumes a licence when it logs in and this licence is released when the agent logs out?

A hotdesk user consumes an IP User licence at the point it is created on the switch?  Or the point at which the user logs into a host device?

I am currently using STATE EXTENSION <extn> which is very laborious.  I was wondering if anyone knows of a simple command to list all stations that are in service?

I didn't think about the spam.  In that case understand.  Going away after 10 posts sounds fair enough.

We are considering upgrading to the new MiTAI SDK v5.  The earliest version of MCD it supports is  3300 R9.0 UR3.  Does anyone know roughly how old this version is?  Are many Mitel sites likely to still be using this version or earlier?

Yes thats how we will do it - set forward unconditional to hotdesk agent id before actual hotdeks login.

p.s. this verification graphic is a right pain in the **** and isn't 4th spelt fourth.  Is in UK.

Thanks for the tip Ralph

I am looking in the Call Routing section and the problem I see is that I can only enter a specific ID.  Eg for station 2001 if I know that agent 704 has logged in I could set to reroute to 704 for 2001.  But of course the whole idea of hotdesk agents is that can login anywhere.

So I need a way to specify the 'currently logged in user id'.  If you see what I mean.  Any ideas?

Can you forward all calls to an out of service hotdesk host to the logged in hotdesk agent?

Reason we need this on a site is that we have routing software which might select a station on a remote Mitel switch and this router sends a message to the remote switch in format: <location><dn>  The dn is the host dn.  ie the device that the hotdesk agent logged into.  Of course, this host is out of service after hotdesk login (thats how hotdesking works on Mitel) so not addressible.

If there was some way that we could forward a call to the host to the logged in hotdesk agent then this would fix our problem?

Any ideas?

Hi

I can't see on the switch where you would configure a make busy code.  Is that because you can just enter any code via an agent handset?
