I think my writing style may have been misconstrued.

I am not saying that it isn't a good system as I have never seen it before and wondered why your company went that route.

I have looked at a lot of systems over the past few months and not one person even talked about this one, so I was curious about it from a technical person's point of view.

From what you said it sounds like a really great system and the support seems too good to be true, and I have added it to my list of systems to look into.

Thanks for the replies, I went to site all ready to upgrade the system and as I was waiting for the allotted down time I took another look at this phones settings.

System Forwarding was toggled off in Flags.

Turned it back on and DND for external calls worked!

So it seems because the 250 doesn't like to give engaged tone even though you have DND on it still rings through.

Solved.

Nothing is silly, everything can be overlooked!

But in this case yes, the DDI goes directly to the phone in the CRT.

Hello

User is in DND, internal calls to their extn show DND, external calls to their DDI still ring through as normal. Checked the System Forwarding Paths and all is well.

I'm stumped why this could be happening, a bug in their particular version of firmware? 6.3.6.21??

Anyone else had this?

Under associated destinations right click anywhere in the pane, add a new destination. you can have Desk, Desk 2, HomeIP, HomeIP 2.

Enter the other extn numbers you want to ring.

Done!

Where is the insufficient bandwidth? You should have alarms that tell you if it's internal, so mentions a particular phone. Or external and tells you the SIP Trunk group number.

Thanks for the reply, gave up! Couldn't get anything to log ON to the 250 at all. The intercom device needed a SIP trunk to log on to, faffed about with it and another telephone system for ages trying different things and couldn't get it to work.

I have however managed to get a 250 talking to a Wildix system by getting the Mitel to Register to Wildix, just doesn't work the other way around.

Hello

Anyone ever networked a 250 via SIP Trunks to anything else?

We have a shopping centre trying to connect a Paging system to their 250 and we aren't getting very far, the paging system needs to connect to a SIP trunk. Configured up a SIP Trunk group on the 250 tried all sorts of ways with the usernames, password, etc and the 250 just keeps on sending 403s to the paging system whenever it tries to register.

Tried tresting it with another phone system networking it to our 250 in the office and get the same results.

Is it even possible?

Does the Mitel FTP Site still exist, got a new 250 running the newest software available from the Mitel Web site doing some strange things with the SIP Trunks.

Wondering if there was a newer firmware than 6.3 SP5 available?

Some old credentials I can find from a previous Account Manager don't seem to work :(

Dial in from your modem and get the customer to quickly transfer the call to 1500?

To be honest i've never tried this, it should work though.

There isn't a solution unfortunately using just your Inter-Tel phone system.

For our customers to achieve what you are after we have implemented a new Virtual Number that can then be pointed at a Group of numbers, mobiles, landlines etc. You then forward from the phones in the office to this new number and then you get your mobile ring group.

We have simulated Hot Desk logins on multiple nodes by using ACD Hunt Groups and Agent Logins.

So to all users a persons extn number is 2222 when actually this is an ACD Hunt Group and the user is simply logging into their group from wherever they are working to receive calls.

Of course the keymaps don't change and you have to get creative with getting their VM to them but it works!

You need to find out what Feature Code the user was using and we will be able to tell what may have happened.

Origianlly the PS-1 was a Blue Inter-Tel branded custom bit of kit, they did later give up on this and use a Dell server.

Not sure on the Software versions though, sorry!
