Hi Guys...

Got a bit of a problem we cant seem to figure out.

I have 1 pbx with ISDN 30 connected.  I have an 0844 number routed into this PBX to a Path.
When users on thie PBX dial the 0844 number I dont want them going down TDM Trunks - have tried digit mod but this still wants to push the call down a trunk - is there anyway I can keep this internal?

Thanks for the info - I was after something a little different.

The request we have had is to provide silent call notification with auto answer.  They would like a notification in the headset such as "bing - incoming call" then automatically connected to the caller.

Anyone used this - we have set up but not really impressed - phone rings once and answers - are there any other options, such as an alert in the headset?

Have suggested that to them in the past - they feel its harder to manage a group mailbox and prefer MWI.  Seems this isnt catered for very well   any reason why the MWI just flashes when no messages?

Anyone have much experience with these, bit of a pain for me really.  Have a Path eg 1111, goes to a PAUP of 2222.  2222 is CFA to Embedded VM.
Had to set up 2222 as a single line on a phantom PKM and use MWI for all agents.

Problem is every now and again we have to disable the light and re-enable it - wondered if anyone knows of any best practices for this?

There are about 15 extensions that want to share a mailbox - The alternative extension in Nupoint seems to work perfectly though it only works for up to 4 alternative extensions.  The ACD path option works as well ;-)

Would prefer to use alternative extension in nupoint if there was a way to have more that 4 - is this poss?

Hi Everyone

Is there a way for users to forward all unanswered calls to an extension (eg 1234) and all messages to reside in the mailbox 1234 so this user can use normal message functions - At the min the messages go to the individuals mailboxes after the forward to Nupoint.  Have thought about using an ACD path to answer the call which then PUAP's to Nupoint though this will mean it goes to an extra mailbox as opposed to extension 1234's mailbox - Can you help?

I have both, what im trying to do is route calls over 2 new PRI trunks.

All calls which withhold CLI to be routed over one, and a small subset (those who send out CLI using CPN substitution) to be routed over the other.

sorry no... the internal numbers are withi the cluster so need to traverse ip trunks.  would be ok if all the numbers this public phone needs to contact were on the same pbx.

ext1000 (IC1)                        ext2000 (IC2)
     PBX 1-----------------------------------PBX 2
              (ic64)  IPTrunk    (ic64)

if i block ic1 from 64 it doesnt get past the ip trunk to pbx 2

is this what you mean?
