Sorry to bring up an old post

Did you ever get a solution to this as I have the exact same problem. however all analogue devices are removed from the ASU yet it still gives me the error "Device is not deassigned" when I try to delete the ASU.

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / Split ACD Calls

Hi

Someone asked me if it's possible to split incoming calls to a DDI that goes to ACD queue on our site and a ACD queue on another site via SIP (they don't use Mitel equipment)

The only way I can think of doing it is setting up a circular hunt group with our ACD number and the SIP number and point the DDI number to that. This will then effectively be a 50/50 split.

I was wondering if there was a better way?

When version 6.0 comes out we'd like to move our server OS to Windows 2008 R2. This means building a new server and then installing the app.

Can anyone tell me if you can install CCM and IQ on the same server? This would really help as currently we have two and we'd like to consolidate.

Does anyone have access to the release notes for MCD 4.0 SP3?

If so could you provide them? I'm looking for a specific fix with DTMF tones not being passed across SIP trunks.

Hi,

Can someone tell me how many departments the latest version of NuPoint can support?

Our old speak@ease used to support a lot more than the 15 that our version of NuPoint currently supports.

I tried bodging it by making dummy users with department names in our AD but it did not like it and wanted a First name and last name to be valid.

It only shows handsets with active calls and then it only shows MAC addresses.

I have a 3300 and Mitel's SRC on MSL as the calls are encrypted so it needs the SRC to translate for our call recorder.

Is there an easy way to find out all the phones that have the SRC configured in their Teleworker settings? I don't fancy visiting each phone individually.

Hi,

We have some SIP trunks that are connected to a 3COM switch.

They work fine when calling the extension directly (ACD extensions).

However in the last couple of days we have got an issue where if someone on our site is transffered to an extension on the end of the SIP trunks it is silent. However if they are transffered but the person doing the transfer waits until the ACD automated message kicks in and then hangs up to complete the transfer the call is OK.

I'm struggling to think what it can be?

Any help appreciated.

All our ARS routes use COR 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5. Each of these COR groups has 64 so I guess this would restrict the SIP trunks from dialing any of the routes.

The max dialed digits also sounds good.

Hi,

We have a SIP trunk between 2 companies. Our switch is a Mitel 3300 and theres is a 3COM switch.

I want to make sure that the site with the 3COM switch can't dial anything outside our internal extension range (3xxx).

The SIP trunks are set to COR 64 which is a blank COR.

I don't want them using our SIP trunks to dial into our switch and then back out making external calls at our cost!

I was wondering if someone could tell me how many departments NuPoint now supports on the Auto Attendant?

Also does the latest release support VMWare yet?

Hi,

Could someone tell me how to cut the caller off once they have heard our emergency message when our ports are set to emergency mode?

The just carry on queueing and it makes the call centre stats look bad.

IP Calls: Yes on same subnet (10.10.0.0). For info all VOIP traffic is on seperate VLAN to our data traffic.
Trunk Gateway: Yes on same subnet as ACD agents

Our 3300 is an MXe. We used to have a 3300 LX but change to a MXe in December and moved from version 8 on the LX to version 9 on the MXe. This is when the silent calls started.

Hiya,

1. The agents are using 5215's 5212's and 5224's
2. External calls are through PRI. However we have had it happen internally when someone called the ACD path and that is IP to IP handset.
3. Yes, caller hangs up and calls back and gets through OK. It is very random.

Our VAR is stuck so we are not having much luck!
