Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / 6930 IP Phone has all RED lights
« on: August 11, 2025, 01:05:30 PM »
I have a single user on a 3300 platform who has a 6930 IP phone. All of the keys on the phone are lit up red, the speakerphone key is also lit up red. User has no issues with calling out or receiving calls. The phone has service level of Full, and the extension is not ACD or Hotdesk.

Things we've done so far:
  • Replaced the phone with another known working phone, the keys are still all red
  • Replaced all cabling
  • Verified all switching/routing is configured correctly
  • Verified firmware and COS are the same as all other users (no other users are reporting this problem)
  • Rebooted the phone
  • Factory reset the phone

Besides deleting and recreating his extension I can't think of any other ways to fix this problem.
I'm not sure how to upload a picture of the phone, but I do have a picture if it helps.
Anyone have any ideas?

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / Remove PNID From Clustered System
« on: June 18, 2025, 06:11:08 PM »
Is there any way to remove a primary node ID from a clustered system? Or do you have to remove the system from the cluster, remove the PNI and then readd the system to the cluster?

Mitel Software Applications / msbBridge Bug and MWI Light Issue
« on: May 23, 2025, 11:59:17 AM »
Just wanted to post this hoping it might help someone else.

The recent msbBridge bug that Mitel released a patch for (See KMS article AL603 and SO8515) can cause a weird issue where MWI flashes if there is no voicemail and if there is a voicemail the MWI doesn't flash. The patch resolves this issue.

Not sip, they are analog extensions. We haven't tried a buttset yet, but the IVR tech did go onsite and connected an analog phone to the FXS port that the IVR connects to and he was able to call to 2211.

Hey all,

Does anyone have experience with transferring calls from a 3rd party IVR system to MiVB? Currently our customer has a Dialogic IVR system. The IVR system is supposed to transfer to ring group 2211 but when it transfers it routes back to the IVR menu prompt after being on hold for transfer for about 10 seconds. It never makes it to MiVB.

MiVB has IVR huntgroup with three FXS Analog members. Calls from MiVB to the IVR route just fine, coming back into MiVB from the IVR is the issue.

According to the technician who supports the IVR they are using the following characters to try to route calls via DTMF: &,,,2211

We've tried using 2211 instead, but no luck there. I've gone through COS on the IVR hunt group members and the ring group it's supposed to go to, but I can't get it to work. We were thinking about adding a flashhook in the IVR DTMF string, but I'm such a novice at DTMF stuff that I'm not sure how to do that.

Mitel Software Applications / Re: Queue to Queue Transfer Report
« on: March 17, 2025, 12:40:56 PM »
I think I got what I needed from the Queue Group Interflow Spectrum by Queue report. Our auto attendant on the queues only allows callers to be transferred to one other queue, so I can assume all the interflowed calls are being transferred to that single queue. It'd be a lot nicer if the report showed where they were being interflowed to though in case the AA allows callers to be transferred to multiple queues. Thanks for your help sarond.

Mitel Software Applications / Queue to Queue Transfer Report
« on: March 07, 2025, 01:45:54 PM »
Hello all. I'm trying to figure out a way to run a report via CCM that shows when an ACD queue transfers to another queue. I can see the SMDR logs that calls are transferred. I can also see in Ignite that calls are transferred. But one of our managers is wanting to run a report to bring to meetings to show how often other queues are transferring the caller to other queues.

If there's a better place to post this question, please tell me so.
