Ralph I have created the call director mailbox for a ACD user.  I have it set up for the messages and it returns back to the original ACD extension. Works great, however when I place a test call and transfer caller to the call director mailbox it still wants me to leave a msg instead of the call flow.  Now if I call a extension programed to that mailbox it rings and I hear the call director.  I think I might be missing something easy here.       I just need a way to transfer the call to the mailbox and call director pick right up.

Thanks again.

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / Help with two MBGS on MIVB
« on: September 16, 2024, 03:43:59 PM »
I have two MBG, one for secure call recording and one for Teleworkers.   I have the teleworkers connected to the teleworker mbg.  The onsite workers that get call recorded connect to the call recording MBG.  I have switched to the interaction recording requiring the direct recording.  This is why I am now using the second MBG for call recording.  These mbgs are not "clustered" in with the system.  MY question is what is the best way to have the teleworkers get recorded also.  I have the teleworker sets MAC in the call recording MBG  and the teleworker MBG ( of course they connect to the teleworker MBG).  Thank You for the help.     9.4 MIVB system

It is a fairly long recording that only certain customers will have to hear.  So the csr have to find out what they need first.

Mitel Software Applications / cluster question for MBGs
« on: August 08, 2024, 01:28:38 PM »
I have a system that has a MBG for teleworker, a Micollab server with mivoice border gateway and another MBG for secure call recording.  I have not had to deal with anything cluster related.  Are these considered clustered? they all work with a Mivoice 3300 but do not seem to be connected to each other in what they do (other than teleworker calls being recorded).  The MSL versions  are not the same now and I am upgrading the SRC to 11.6.  Will the others have to be upgraded as well or are the not clustered and do not have to be?    SRC is now at 11.6   teleworker is at 11.0 and micollab Linux 11.0

Mivoice 3300 9.1  with ACD MiCC contact center

I do not have much experience with ACD but have inherited it.  I am needing to have callers that have come into the ACD que be put on Hold or park and hear a message, then be able for recall or the agent pick them back up after hearing the message.   By law they have to hear this message in the middle of a service order  Example( Customer calls in, discusses what they are needing, Then they have to hear the recording for the law, Then return the agent and finish the service order up).  We have multiple RADs with messages that play while on hold in the que now and those are good and need to stay in place. How would be the best route to achieve this.  Maybe a hunt group ext that they could be sent too ( but how would they get back to the same agent)  Call director (same how to get back to same agent)?     Have a separate MOH hold button with a different source?  Call park (can I have a separate MOH for those call Park positions  (we do not use call park now)

MiVoice Office 250/Mitel 5000 / 28-vpu out of sync
« on: June 25, 2024, 01:46:46 PM »
Any one know what 28-vpu out of sync in red that shows up on a 6940 phone does not show up on 6930 phones.  This is on a Mitel 250 with MCS.  The phone works but this shows up randomly and goes away.  On the last software version.  These phones are on a network of switches, the ports are tagged vlan, the phones are not.

These are 8560 phones.  I notice that the window on the right shows the phones that have the flags.  such as show caller id when ringing, this has all my phones.  However the caller ID -CO shows now phone and I cannot add any to it.  Could this be the problem?  This is under phone related info flags.  System flags has display caller ID set to yes.
Thank you for your help.

I have a simple 250.  The customer has requested CID.  CID info is coming in from the CO analog lines.  Under the phone flags  Display CID on ringing  (yes)   Display outside CID name (yes)

I cannot enable or put phones into the Extended ring cadence or Caller id co and Caller ID IC under system flags.   This field is blank when opened up.  How can I get this enabled or phones put into this field so CID will work.

I have a ext 223 that is a old phone (digital) on the Mitel 250.  I have a 6940 set up and ready for a user. I want to move 223 to this 6940 phone.  I cannot seem to get the steps right.  I have even tried to delete 223 and bring it back as a sip69xx phone.  However I just end up with a ext 1000 on the sip side and 223 comes back as it was.  Anybody know where I can get instructions on this or help me out.  Ext 223 name and everything stays the same just a new phone.  I also have that ext 1000 sitting in mcs but cannot attach 223 to it either.

MiVoice Office 250/Mitel 5000 / Re: 6940w phones with phone manager
« on: May 16, 2024, 10:20:38 AM »
I just reread my post, it's a little misleading.   I have a bunch of 6940s working on this system.  However when I try to use the 6940w it will not come up.  I can take a non W phone and it will work on the extension.    I know I had run into a software issue with bringing up W phones on a 3300 system on older software.  I figure this is the same thing.

Has anyone used a 6940W phone with the 250 and it work.  I am getting to the send pin stage but nothing will happen.  Install a 6940 phone and it will come up and function?

I have a 3300 (no micollab or nupoint). When the pilot number is called it hits a extension 8000, if not answered it goes to a menu box with press 1 for this and 2 for that.  I can find the mailboxes for 1,2 ,3 of the menu.  The 8000 does not have a mailbox and I am having trouble finding how to change the menu.  I am used to mailboxes being on micollab and cant get this figured out.  Any advice on how to find where this mailbox is that controls the menu.  I am sure its right in front of me.  Thanks in advance.

At this location, we are not.  They are wanting to use teams to use the PBX to call out (mainly mobile and on the move users).  They do have the Micollab server running for the Nupoint and call director but that is it.  Going the Micollab route would require to get everyone on the Micollab client, using the deployment feature i suppose?  Then use the Mitel assistant in Teams?  I have never used call2teams before and I'm sure they don't want to pay for it with a micollab sitting there.  I will gladly take any suggestions.  I think the biggest hurdle will be getting everyone with a desktop client.   Thank You

I have a Micollab (9.6.2.9) and two 3300 controllers (ver. 9.4) that is only being used for the Nupoint voicemail.  I am wanting to integrate Teams into the mix and use the teams to call through the PBX and Micollab.
I am doing this very cautious due to not wanting to kill 200 voicemail boxes on the Nupoint.  How is the best way to bring the users with mailboxes over to the Micollab where I can deploy the desktop client.  There are two Mitel controllers and one Micollab in this setup.  The controllers back each other up.  Can I run the wizard and let it do its thing ?
