Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / Configuring SPA112 Questions
« on: December 13, 2022, 06:03:55 PM »
Trying to provision and setup a spa112 as an analog line. Excuse my ignorance on the matter, but would you use the MBG IP as the proxy address in the SPA112 and is there any port information needed?

EDIT: Just built a SIP profile and that's what I needed for it to register. I got it resolved pretty sure.

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / Re: MiCollab Conference 3 - Way

I have tried these. The changing Sip Capabilities worked, but I got no audio from the MiCollab application, but the two parties were connected.

I have 3 lines on extra keys

Wondering if we can disable missed call indicators on his phone. He has an assistant that manages his line from another phone, so wondering how I'd go about doing this. I've tried poking around in the CoS but can't find anything on it.

Also wondering if the bottom row of buttons can be assigned? Can only find assignable line keys in the keys menu.

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / MiCollab Conference 3 - Way
« on: April 28, 2022, 06:38:22 PM »
Hello!

Probably really easy question but can't get this working. Conference shows up in the MiCollab client, but fails when I try to conference. Tried changing from UC Endpoint on device to Generic SIP. CoS shows conference enabled and can on desk phone. Added Multicall linekeys on the softphone extension but still failing.

Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!
I really dislike MiCollab lol

You have a digit conflict with your ARS.
You can try something, I'm not sure if this will work, but try creating a system speed dial of 9940* and point that number anywhere - it doesn't matter where.  That may fix the problem.  If it doesn't, then you have to 1) change the 9940 number to something that doesn't start with a 9 or 2) in ARS, be more specific with your call routing. Add in numbers 99401, 99402, 99403, etc.

The ARS Digit Dialed was exactly what I was looking for! This worked, thank you so much!

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / Re: Dialing out dials internally

Wow, what are the chances I have the same issue on the same month lol!

Did you get this figured out? I can't seem to find a place to edit the dial plan / digit map in the phone. New to Mitel, not new to VOIP but normally a phone will have a digit map to tell the phone when to auto connect the call and so fourth. Typically how I'd fix this is add a 3 sec short timer on the end of a valid 4 digit extension, but I can't seem to find where to do this.

My issue is not routing to short codes though, it's routing to a valid extensioned user.

Alright, this may be an easy question but I don't see anywhere in our sys to edit digitmaps/dialmaps, not sure if it's a feature to edit.

My Issue: When trying to dial a 10 Digit phone number (Ex: 940-765-xxxx) I dial 9940 (9 for our outbound) and before I have time to dial more, it auto connects to 9940, an extension in our sys.. Now, I'm wondering if we can edit our digitmap to have a timer on a matching 4 digit ext.

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / Bulk Clear Voicemail Box?

How do you clear a voicemail box and all the messages from the voicemail on a user if it's full?

as for #1, the app is supposed to get "woken up" and put to the foreground by a "push notification" sent to the phone by the mitel server. Sometimes it can take a while to get through but if it doesn't work at all then something is not working correctly.

Once the app gets in the foreground, it connects and re-registers with sip to MBG and then MBG will forward the pending INVITE to the set via that sip connection and the ringing should begin.

Ah okay, that makes perfect sense. However, I have looked over all the push notification settings and played around with it in the app and I cannot get it to ring if the app is closed. Does it need to be open at all times to accept incoming calls?

Hello! New here and new to Mitel. I am having quite a few reports on our system mainly about the softphone application on MiCollab being insanely unreliable. We have quite a few users that use it, but have also been running into the same issue in testing.

I more or less have two issues:
  • Issue 1: When a user gets a call, it will not display that they are being called unless the app is open in the foreground. If the app is closed, there is no notification. I am able to recreate this issue on my 13 Pro running the latest iOS.
  • Issue 2: How come softphone doesn't show up in the browser/desktop app most of the time? Sometimes it does and I'm able to register the softphone and use it via the browser or the MiCollab app on the Microsoft store, but other times it does not show up in the bottom right corner.
Also, I does Mitel offer training or some sort of class/webinar that you guys use as a resource?
