« on: July 30, 2025, 08:44:39 AM »In my experience one way audio is almost always a network issue.
If you're doing SIP then you should be using a teleworker gateway for a SIP proxy.
The TW gateway needs to be aware of all networks any phone will be installed on and how to route to them.
You should be able to ping the phone from the gateway and from an PC on the network that's having the problem to the gateway.
If you're not using a TW gateway then you're SIP provider has to know how to reach all the networks.
One of the worst customers I had refused to buy a TW server. They would constantly have trouble because the SIP provider would lose the routing to a network they had. They'd call me to complain and I'd tell them to contact the carrier and have them fix the routing again.
Having said that, I did have and issue one time where the subnet mask was wrong in the DHCP server. Half of the phones had no problem and the other half had one way audio.

Ralph, you were right. It ended up being an issue with NAT that had to be explicitly configured on the WAN firewall.
