In my experience one way audio is almost always a network issue.
If you're doing SIP then you should be using a teleworker gateway for a SIP proxy.
The TW gateway needs to be aware of all networks any phone will be installed on and how to route to them.
You should be able to ping the phone from the gateway and from an PC on the network that's having the problem to the gateway.
If you're not using a TW gateway then you're SIP provider has to know how to reach all the networks.
One of the worst customers I had refused to buy a TW server. They would constantly have trouble because the SIP provider would lose the routing to a network they had.  They'd call me to complain and I'd tell them to contact the carrier and have them fix the routing again.

Having said that, I did have and issue one time where the subnet mask was wrong in the DHCP server. Half of the phones had no problem and the other half had one way audio.

Ralph, you were right. It ended up being an issue with NAT that had to be explicitly configured on the WAN firewall.

I've got the exact same issue, but with SIP trunks instead of a PRI. What's even stranger is I can add a static route for the Public Media address of the SIP provider and it FIXES the audio for one call direction, but breaks it in the other direction. I can roll back the static and it reverts. It's the strangest thing.

It happens on both internal-to-Internal calls and External-to-Internal calls.

I also confirmed Display Held Call ID on Transfer is set to yes in the COS of the handsets.

One thing that puzzles me still is the following line in the description of that COS option. Does that mean another COS needs to be enabled possibly?

We recently updated to 10.1 and have noticed a change that I can't quite find a fix for.

Phone A calls Phone B. Phone B decides to transfer to Phone C. While Phone C is ringing, previously we would see Phone A's Name on the top of the handset and Phone B's Name on the Line Key in use. Now, All I see anywhere is Phone A no matter if the transfer is completed, answered, converted to conference, etc. This feature was well liked because users knew whether to answer with the company jingle or if they were getting a Supervised Transfer from another user instead of an outside call.

I've searched the COS options under Display(seemed the best fit) and none of the Options I've messed with seem to change anything. Happens on both 53XX and 69XX series sets.

Attached is the current COS for the Sets.

Any input would be much appreciated.

Has anyone ever converted a system from a single hard drive to adding a raid-controller and doing reduntant drives? I'm sure there would be downtime but I've just never attempted this process before and want to avoid any gotchas or hurdles.

Thanks in advance.
