New Micollab version released.

A Fix Pack for MiCollab 9.4 (9.4.1.102) has been released.

Hi,

I have a micollab 7.3 client with console option combined with a 6940 hard phone.
If a second call arrives we want to hold the first call answer the second.
Put the second on hold to finish the first call and then finish the second call.

The issue I have is that the second call isn't visible in the micollab 7.3 client.
I have multiple multiline keys on the 6930 and they start ringing when the second call is received.

In the 7.3 console in the "Active Calls" the second call is not visible.
When Put the first call on hold I cant answer the second call from the 7.3 console but I can on the 6940.

What am I missing?

Thanks,
Thijs

Mitel released a new patch.

A software upgrade fix is targeted for 9.4. SP1 FP1 aiming for mid-March release.

For now:

Run the patch script on your server. This patch is applicable to all systems running 8.0 to 9.4, MiCollab or MiVB-x.

Patch available in KMS SO6795

Hi Ricardo,

Mitel just released 2 articles on KMS.   :-X :-X
The issue is fully addressed in MiCollab 9.5.

Document ID AL420
High Volume Traffic Detected on MiCollab Servers and MiVoice Business Express Servers

Document ID SO6795
High Traffic Volume Detected and Resource Alarms reported on MiCollab and MiVoice Business Express Servers

Resolution
Alter system configuration to bring MiCollab onto the LAN, fronted with an MBG proxy server.
Or
Alter firewall rules to block ports to the DMZ or LAN (10070, 10073, 10074)
Or
Apply the patch appropriate to your MiCollab version. Instructions and patch files are attached.

Hi Ricardo,

Had the same thing last 2 days.
Bin chasing it for 48 hours.
Mitel came with a patch.
3 Files need to be replaced.
Contact your Mitel support person to help you get the patch.

After tracing the issue to AWV we first stopped the service to have some network stability back.
We have about 50 systems running for multiple clients and it was madness
If your Mitel support can't help you please contact the company I work for. Maybe we can work something out.
You can reach us at +31880405858

Good luck.

SIP On Mitel / mobile sip user (vamo) registration problems
« on: February 26, 2020, 05:42:15 PM »
Hello fellow Mitel gurus,

I’m in the process of connecting a new sip provider.
Trunking is all fixed and working beautifully

But the issue I have at the moment is with their solution to integrate mobile phones in the PBX
The mobile phone (simcard) is terminated on a mobile proxy of the provider witch sets up a sip user connection with the MBG.
Nice setup and working with other providers.
The mobile proxy on place on the provider side is a version of Kamailio.
The weird thing starts after I call with the mobile phone. (internal or external number doesn’t matter)
Incoming calls to the mobile phone is no problem until I make a call with the mobile phone.
At that moment an extra registration pops up on the MBG. (see attachment)
After the extra registration all calls to the mobile phone stop working.
The biggest different in the traces are the request-uri.
Before calling with the mobile the external IP (WAN) is inserted in the request-uri.
After the call with the mobile the internal IP of the Mitel MCD is in the request-uri.

user-agent mismatch is fixt
Both are mobile01 at this moment

I hope one of you can make sense of this issue. (and know what I need to change in the MBG or MCD)

Mitel software version is the Mitel Mivoice Business Express v8.1.2.8

Thanks in regards,
Thijs
