Hello all,

I we the 3300 system and have noticed since moving to Office 365 now when we get voicemails the vm notification light on the phone (5330) still blink even after listening to the vm. We have to go into the MiCollab End User Portal and delete or save them before the lights stop flashing on the phone. Any ideas how to fix this?

Actually I added the number to the DID service number but when saving i got this error DID Service: DID Number must be unique.

I would also need to put the number in the DID Service number field? It is populated in the CPN Substitution number.

Associated type is set to CPN Sub, i made this change a while back and it worked until recently now i don't know how to get it working again. Would it make sense to delete it and re-add it? Some of the numbers I added at the same time are still showing the associated numbers.

We are trying to change the extension number in our PD to show a generic number when calling outside numbers. I have tried the following and it is still set but it shows the internal extension.
Log in to your Mitel system. If you don't know how to do this please see How do I connect to my MN3300 system?
Go to User & Devices, Telephone Directory Management and then the Associated Directory Numbers form.
Click Add and make your changes.
Note: 200 refers to the telephone directory number of your extension etc.
The associated number is the one which will be presented to the called party when you dial out i.e.

It has the Mitel screen with the Mitel logo. I am trying to update the firmware now. Can you do this from a phone menu or do you have to do it manually?

I see what looks like an extension on the top left but its not the extension i am trying to assign to this phone. Shows L1: ext. I cant make calls, i get a dial tone but when i try calling out it hangs up before it rings out. If i call into this extension it goes right to voicemail. How can i tell if is communicating with the MiVB or in SIP mode?

I was able to just change the model and save that. When I plugged in the new phone, it just booted up without asking for a PIN. I see line 1 and 2 but cant make any calls with it. Any suggestions? Tried to find how to register this model phones but cant find any steps.

All -
I am trying to move an existing phone model 5960 to a new phone 6930 and when I change the MAC address and phone model then click save I get an error stating "the line types are not supported". We did just go through an update so maybe this is not how you change phones over any longer?  Line types they are referring to are Application, Headset, Microphone, Phone application, phonebook, Speaker, URL Line. I apologize if I am in the wrong listing. Any help on this is appreciated.

I checked this out and this is the spot where to change it and it looks like it was already set up but for some reason it doesn't seem to be working.

I need to find a way when our dispatchers call out to residents their extension is not displayed. I would like it to show the main number of our PD. I know this is vague but not sure what other info is needed.

Using the voicemail portal that allows you to save your vm's then listen to them. Also where you can set up vm to email. Mitel    My Unified Communications. I believe it is 5330 IP Phone.
