I went back to the Carrier, which has a SIP Trunk backbone with Vega Router to break it back to a PRI handoff.
We went through call traces and noticed that while my ISDN protocol was set to NI2 as it needed to be per the cutover 6 months ago, they had Automatic on, sort of an auto negotiate the protocol.
Well the external transfer did not like that.
The support rep changed it to NI2 in the Vega Router and the external transfers started to work.
Problem solved.

Hello all, I have a Mitel 3300 with an Innovation Auto Attendant that has a digit transfer to a system speed call configured on the 3300.
The transfer drops the call when the external caller answers.
It's a hotel and this is supposed to go to an external site for reservations.
I had the site verify the speedcall works by them just dialing it from the phone.
For testing purposes I built a speed call with my cell number and I get 1 ring and the call drops.
I show a missed call on the cell phone.
Yes public to public trunk is enabled on the COS for the voicemail ports and the trunk ports
Voicemail ports have the same interconnect restriction as the IP phones.
I added the main number for CPN substitution in case it was an issue of the far end not recognizing caller id but the issue persists and the missed calls that show on my cell are the main number.
The Auto Attendant digit transfers to internal extensions work so I tried to create a DN which I forwarded to the external number and the same thing happens.
I hear, PLS Hold and then 2-3 rings and 1 ring or sometimes none on my cell and a missed call.
I contacted the Carrier and the call trace show the disconnect coming from the PBX.
The CCS Trace definitely shows the CRM/CIM/cim ;2;*166*1 2 3 4#*234*X`#
Any ideas?
Thanks,

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / Restrict calls to guest rooms
« on: July 02, 2019, 12:41:34 PM »
Hello, I've been doing Mitel on the enterprise side but an relatively new to the Hospitality flavor of the 3300.
I have a Hotel customer that wants to restrict calling from "Public Area phones."
It's a large site with an ISS,MXE and AX as the total solution running 5.0 SP1 PR1.
They want these phones to not be able to call the guest rooms but be able to call the front desk (0) and callout for emergencies (911).
I tried setting up interconnect restrictions but to no avail, the test phone is still able to call the guest rooms.
I set the DN I'm testing with (5633)to interconnect restriction 3 in the Uses and Devices \ and I'm restricting calls to interconnect restriction 2 which is the one I think the hotel rooms are set to.
They don't show up in Station Atributes form or the Users and Devices\ Service Details.
The only reference to the Guest Room extensions are in the Property Management Form.
The only reference to the Guest Room Interconnect Restriction number is Property Management\Hotel Options\Call Block Affected interconnect number(50) and Call Block unaffected Interconnect number (2).
If this is not where to locate the interconnect restriction for the hotel rooms?
Is there another way to accomplish this?

Yes, they are correct.
I can ping each controller from the maintenance window.

Thanks, I performed that step by step.
The license violation persists.
This is what I get when I issue the command "License Status" in maintenance commands.

The interesting thing is in AMC the DLM shows status green but the ULM shows status yellow.
Its a ticking clock, any ideas?

Yes all controllers are pingable from the DLM controller.

The first thing I noticed was the hardware id was different than what I showed in records.
It was set to "no" for being the DLM.
I switched it to "yes."
I then logged in to AMC and cleared the hardware id.
I then did a sync from the DLM to AMC by clicking "retrieve licenses."
I then did a sync from the DLM controller Network Elements page to the other sites.
The alarm cleared, I thought we were in the clear.
Then the alarm came back.
I did the same thing, the alarm cleared then came back.
I tried it again, and the alarm has not cleared this time.
I called AMC and they told me to call Tech Support.
Unfortunately this is not an option since our sale rep dropped the ball on SWA.
What is the ibutton?

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / DLM License Violation
« on: October 01, 2018, 11:36:19 AM »
I have a 6 site Cluster (without SWA) and my DLM is in license violation.
This is because a colleague was working an audio issue and decided to replace the MXE controller thus changing the hardware id in the DLM.
I changed it to reflect the new hardware id in both the DLM and AMC.
I performed a sync for all network elements but I continue to get a License violation:
"Lost Connectivity to Peers"
I've repeated the sync process and the alarm clears but then comes back as a "major alarm."
Am I missing something?
Obviously I cannot call Tech Support since no SWA but I have contacted AMC.
They tell me its in license violation because the customer doesn't have SWA.
If we switch it back to the original controller and reset the hardware id's will it still be in license violation?
Is it in license violation because we broke the Group Licensing without SWA?
Any help would be appreciated, thanks.
