We've successfully launched the MiTel OIG and are using the Salesforce integration.  What's hanging us up is that the native Salesforce phone field uses the phone number as well as the extension, all in one field.

When a user clicks to dial ANY number with an extension, the call fails because of the extra digits.

I've tried changing the format to use a comma, an X, a semi-colon, a space, and a *.  Nothing works, and the calls continue to fail.

Most of our phone numbers have extensions in our CRM, as we are a B2B company.  Without a way to have MiTel recognize that the extension digits shouldn't be dialed, the integration is fairly useless.

Has anyone found a workaround here?
