Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / Non-Mitel handset on MiVoice Business - no audio

Hello all,
I’m trying to get a Fanvil handset connected to a Mitel telephone system, and each handset can call the other but there is no audio. Any guides/suggestions to try please? The handset is on a 192.168.17.0/24 network, and the system is on a 192.168.180.0/24 network, but that shouldn’t affect things should it?
