Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / Re: Forwarding voicemail to email issue

I figured this issue out the problem was in the name of the mailbox. The name contained a "space" so it was failing on exchange since there isn't any spaces in email addresses. Thanks for the help!

Example:
Bad mailbox name: Bob Marley,VM
Good mailbox name: BobMarley,VM

Hope this helps someone in the future.

In this specific situation I have 6 mailboxes. All are being forwarded to the same email address. Settings are all the same on the PBX mailboxes.

Mailbox 1 - Forwarding to email
Mailbox 2 - Forwarding to email
Mailbox 3 - Forwarding to email
Mailbox 4 - Forwarding to email
Mailbox 5 - Not forwarding - Can review messages when dialing in
Mailbox 6 - Not forwarding - Can review messages when dialing in

Mitel 3300 embedded vm
Release: 6.0 SP3
Software Load: 12.0.3.15

Hello,

I am facing a rather unique issue with emails being forwarded to email. We use this function often and it always works. I have two separate mailboxes that will not forward to email. I see the message count go up and I can dial into the mailbox and hear the messages. I have to have at least 100+ voicemail's forwarding to emails without any problems. I've checked and double checked all of my settings in my voicemail box. Has anyone experienced this problem?

I found another way to do this, which is actually longer but worth noting.
Ring Group Overflow to ACD Path - ACD Path Overflow to Nametag Hunt Group after .01 Seconds - Nametag Hunt Group set as Extension in VM box settings - Reroute Hunt Group 2/2/2/1/1

Ralph yours is obviously the shorter route, but both will work!

Thanks for the help!

Sorry for bump of this old thread, but I am trying what you suggested above.

I have a ring group overflowing to an ACD Path, named the same as the VM box I'm trying to go to *XXXXX. After no answer of the Ring group it is transferred to the ACD path but instead of hitting the VM Box it hits the Auto Attendant. Any ideas?
