Thanks TE :)

So what is a dynamic extension.  Would this enable the staff member to use his iphone to make and receive calls through his cell phone? (he works in an area where there are no "desk phones"

Alternitively I we do go for a DECT phone such as the 612d, do we also need the base station such as the RFP 35 IP DECT or is this only needed if you have multiple dect phones?

Cheers  ;)

HI!

I am an end user and our offices have the mitel 5000 system with 5312 handset units (other than main switchboard).  However we have one staff member who is not tied to a desk in anyway, but still needs an extension / portable device.  A seperate dect phone is not an option because he already has his mobile / cell phone and also management don't want to pay for it as it is likely that he won't use it a great deal.

Have done some websurfing and have come across something called micollab. Can someone tells me how this actually works, and if it is a costly add on. Also would this be a suitable solution - ie, if we can add this app to my colleagues iPhone would be able to make and receive internal and external calls using the app?

Thanks for this - but doesn't seem to work (although it does have a forwarding path, which I cannot take off because of the nature of the business)

On my old system  - this was really easy. I would dial a feature code followed by extension number and it would instantly connect to the phone loudspeaker.  If I just dialed the extension number (without the feature code it would just rang and work like any other extension).

So in short is not possible to have a similar function with Mitel.
eg dial feature code + extension and be connected directly to the loudspeaker?

Thanks :)

Sorry - mental block in operation! ;D ;D

I can program that through DSS on keymaps!

Cheers for your help!

Hi, have access to keymaps and can program that - but can't seem to work out how to do an all in one button - ie transfer to my colleague in one button press if that makes sense! :o

Thanks for your help :)

Hey!  :)

Is there a way to dial an extension and connect immediately to its loudspeaker??? On my last (non mitel) system this was called off hook announce and was done using a feature code followed by dialling an extension.

Using 5312 IP phones and I have access to DB programming software

Cheers

Greetings all!

Is there a way I can program I specific button to transfer to a specific extension. I have access to the mitel DB programming software

For example...

I work in an office with one colleague and regularly transfer calls to this colleague.  It would be great if I could just hit a button rather than dialling transfer and his number all the time!!!

Thanks in advance
