Create a multicall or keyline dn on the phone and have the trunk attribute ring to it

Thank you that does Kind of work. It does allow me to easily see the incoming call. 2 Things i want to improve if possible is if I select that key it will select the trunk 0010, and when the call come in it shows it as trunk 10 but I want the Caller ID to come though as well. Do you have any suggestions on how to do this.

I have done a trunk select with the Feature access codes #*#0010 on my system as a speed call. so i might be able to get away with 1 key for incoming and 1 key for outgoing.

I have a paging system that is on our trunk 2,1,1,10, I then have any calls coming in go to a ring group. the ring group rings 3 phones and shows up as 1691 on the display. when you answer the call the caller ID shows as Trunk 10, but there is a caller ID that comes from the paging system with Caller ID like 101,102 and so on. I have its own class of service and i selected yes for any caller id options i saw but it still doesn't pass the caller ID. any suggestions of what I should look for? Thank you in advance.

I am working on Having a specific analog trunk ring on four users phone. Ideally I want it as a separate Key from the users main line so i can set it to ring for some users and not ring for others. The Trunk is on cabinet 2, Shelf 1, Slot 1, Circuit 10, Trunk number 10.

Thank You Sarond, That worked for me. I found The individual trunk access code and programmed it as a key.

I want to set up a key available phone set to be able to activate a specific Trunk, in this case Cabinet 2 Shelf 1 Slot 1 Circuit 10.  Is this possible? and any suggestions on where to look to set this up would be appreciated.

I solved this issue. I Configured a Analog Set, and configuring users and devices. Luckily I had a spare analog license,  Now I am working on setting up a Button on user sets to activate a specific trunk.

Hello, I got surprised with this today. We purchased a new Paging system and the installers are trying to set it up. They require an Analog line with Dial Tone and an Extension number to our Mitel 3300. I do not know the first thing required to set this up. If any one can provide some guidance that would be helpful.

Thnak you for all your help. I went through the ACD and I didn't really understand what it was doing so I stayed away from it  for now. I did look at the other options acejavelin suggested and ended up adding hunt groups and then changing the call rerouting straight to voicemail.

I have set up a voicemail box 1671 and I can log into the voicemail box but the system will not call it when I dial 1671. There is no phone associated with this number it. I have one i set up previously that works but I do not see a difference between the two so far except the working one appears in call Rerouting and one that is not working is not listed in call rerouting.

Any suggestions on what I missed would be Appreciated.

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / Mitel 5324 Headset key not working

I have a 5324 IP phone connected to a 3300. I have tried programming a headset key on the phone and it does not work. The Key saves but does nothing when pressed. I then programmed the same Key on a different 5324 and it worked as I expected. So the issue seems to be localized to the handset. I assume there is something else that is stopping it from working. Does any one have any suggestions of what to look for?

I have been playing around with this. I should said before that I have release Level 6.0 SP3. I am also not experienced with the advanced functions of this unit more just general user adding and modifying but I am the most experienced at my organization so it falls to me. We do have some support from our municipal telephone staff but I know the Mitel unit better than they do so I am trying to figure this out without involving them, plus saves us a support call. I may not have enough access to do everything needed. I am an administrator on the system but not Root. I did get a code to work but it blocks all calls including 911 and internal calls. I would like to change that.

Bluewhite4 I am curious how you have configured your phones how you have them working that sounds like what I ideally want to do.

I set up a Class of service (35) and Class of restriction groups (35) that I am using for testing. In Class of service I set the Account Code Length  4, Account Code Verified  Yes , Forced Non-Verified Account Code  Yes , Forced Verified Account Code  Yes , Non Verified Account Code  Yes. I played with these settings but the only ones that seemed to have to be on are Account Code Verified Yes and Forced Verified Account Code Yes.

Under Independent Account code is set the code as 1234 and class of service 35 and class of restriction 35. When I set Both the COS to 35 the phone required that I put the code in twice. I changed The COS to 36 (which is unused) so the phone would only prompt for the code once. I set the COS to 36 because I couldn’t find a way to not set it.

The phone extension 5555 is set to use day/night1/night2 CoS and CoR as 35.

I looked under Feature access codes but didn’t find any labeled “Independent Account Code“. Should I be able to add feature Access codes? Or do I need root level access to do that.

I would like to put pass codes on phones so people have to input a code to make a call or a pass code to make a external call. I work for a school board and we have a mitel 3300 and 5324 IP phones. Many students have been making prank calls from our phones and we wish to limit their ability to make calls.
