MiVoice Office 250/Mitel 5000 / Voice Mail Password Incorrect
« on: September 13, 2016, 12:27:48 PM »
I have 2 users that cannot access their voicemail from their phones. When they enter their password it tells them that it is incorrect. I have reset the passwords for both users and have rebooted the Mitel 5000 system. Both of these users can call their DID number, press the asterisk button, enter their mailbox number and password to get their voice mail. I can call their extension, press the asterisk key, enter their credentials and get their voicemail.

Thank you for this information. I just finished adding the port forwarding on my router and will take care of the other items shortly. I will keep you posted...

MiVoice Office 250/Mitel 5000 / Remote Phones
« on: March 11, 2016, 01:49:02 PM »
I am having an issue connecting 2 IP Phones from a remote location. Here is what I have in my local and remote environments:

MAIN SITE:
Mitel 5000 PBX - DHCP for phones
AT&T Router (Public IP Address)
Linksys LRT 224 Router (GW to GW VPN to and from Remote Site)
Dell SBS2008 - DHCP Server for Data
HP 2620 PoE Switch (VLAN 1[192.168.20.xxx/24] = Data, VLAN 2 [192.168.21.xxx/24] = Voice
Mitel 5330e IP Phone

REMOTE SITE:
AT&T Arris Modem (Public IP Address)
Linksys LRT 224 Router (GW to GW VPN to and from Main Site) - DHCP Server for data at remote site.
Mitel 5330e IP Phone

Our vendor has had me try several different configurations - all of which have not worked. I obtained another public IP Address from AT&T and have programmed that within the Mitel 5000 and the remote phone (TFTP Server and ICP). When the phone goes through the boot sequence it lists TFTP: MAIN and then gives the message tftp svr unavailable.

Anyone out there have any sort of clue of how I may get this to work without having to re-engineer my existing network?
THANKS!
