Ok so here's the dilemma.

Setup q.sig got it to ring only to find out the open source box doesn't support it. (explains the ring but fast busy on answer)
Had to roll everything back to Wink Start E&M T1 ... yes... I know... boooooo   LOL

Here's the puzzling thing: I get the same issue now. Phone rings and get the intercept when I answer.
No issues with COR, class of services seems right...

Is there something that would allow the call to ring the phone but intercept upon answer?
I really hope someone can help... Been fighting this for a week.

Thanks,
Jeff

Go to All forms, then System Speed Call Assignment.
Look for 0.

Ok, so I thought I had it fixed... LOL
Call rings now,  but when I answer, the receiving party hears a fast busy.
The far end sees the call as still active.

Anyone ever see this before?

A couple of quick options:

Do you know what the DNIS is for the main number? Might be the last 4 digits.
You could set a speed call assignment for the DNIS and map it to the extension of the new phone.

Not sure if you have any night programming associated with the original line though. If you do, it might throw and error and point you in the right direction.

Hi Chris,
I'm not an expert either but have used Mitel off and on over 15 years.

There is a maintenance screen (telnet) where you can do swaps without having to change mac addresses. You might want to look into that in the future.

For now, it might be a good strategy to assume that the old phone had multiple line appearances. Were there any buttons labeled on the old phone?
Does that line up with the line appearance definitions on the "new" phone?

You might only need to add the missing line appearances. (Multiline Set Key Assignment will show what's on there)

Thanks,
Jeff

I got it. Knew it was something simple.
Was missing the Enbloc Enable option in the protocol assignment.

Thanks!

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / QSig Call flash ring then hangs up
« on: March 10, 2016, 12:53:11 PM »
Good afternoon,
I have an NMS open source telephony unit that is using PRI 5ESS to connect to a 3300 using QSig.
The 3300 is the QSig side with address A.

The trunk comes up, D channel comes up. When I call from the NMS to the 3300, the desk phone actually does a split second "blip ring" then the NMS gets a call hung up message from the 3300.
I've checked all the call timers, made sure the Call Duration Forced Cleardown Timer is set to 0.

The extensions can call each other just fine.

Any ideas why it would drop the call just as soon as it makes the phone ring?

Thanks everyone!
Actually removing the usrprfle.db worked. The browser still had the failed attempts cached.

After several dents in the wall from my forehead, I rebooted my laptop and got in.

Default password still not working...
Even removed usrprfle.db ... still says bad password.

Any ideas? I'm sitting on a brick right now... LOL

I've wiped the DB already so I'm open to trying anything.

I did:

-> ResetAllLoginPasswords
undefined symbol: ResetAllLoginPasswords
-> ResetAllLoginPasswords
undefined symbol: ResetAllLoginPasswords
-> RESETALLLOGINPASSWORDS
undefined symbol: RESETALLLOGINPASSWORDS
-> RESET_ALL_LOGIN_PASSWORDS
undefined symbol: RESET_ALL_LOGIN_PASSWORDS

Tried just about any flavor you can think of. I'm using the rs-232 connection.

Anything else I might be missing?

Yes Sir.
From the console port:

-> RESET_ALL_LOGIN_PASSWORDS
undefined symbol: RESET_ALL_LOGIN_PASSWORDS
-> RESET_ALL_LOGIN_PASSWORDS "system"
undefined symbol: RESET_ALL_LOGIN_PASSWORDS
->

From the telnet RTC (using installer)

ResetAllLoginPasswords
Unknown keyword

I must be missing something simple.

Hey guys, shocking... I need help with system credential recovery.  :-\

I have a 3300 lx running 6.0.5.7. Done my homework, tried the usual commands, but get undefined symbol.
Please feel free to reach out to me if you're logged in today.

Thanks,
Jeff
