Yea I have come across the version problem before. This is something different and, surprise surprise, barely documented...

I will drop a ticket in to Mitel support and see what they say. Will report back anything I find.

Thanks guys

Mitel Software Applications / Correcting SDS errors

Hi all,

Just set up a Cluster of 2 Controllers and a Micollab server. On synchronizing them all I get the following error appearing in the reconcile wizard of the MiCollab server.

"Error: Failed to retrieve application data from the database."

This happens on each of the controllers to the server.

Looking through the documentation I can't find anything that points to what could be causing this problem.

has anyone encountered it or had similar issues?

Cheers

Mitel Software Applications / Re: Blade Installation via AMC

Thanks for that,

Was getting me confused as the requested .iso was different from any option I could download from Mitel. Mounted the NuPoint ones and it kicked off.

Mitel Software Applications / Blade Installation via AMC

Hi all,

Run into a somewhat interesting problem.

Installing blades onto our MAS server, I was under the impression I can simply download and install them through the "Install Applications" tab in server manager, however when I go to install NuPoint this way, it wants me to mount a cd with the volume label "NP-UM_18.0.0.49"

Any advice on how to get around this?

Thanks

As an aside, has anyone had experience with Skype for Business and MiCollab Integration? Documentation is fuzzy in regards to deployment other than "Manually install from email link on each PC" This is less than ideal for enterprise sites.

Check if you have any SOS logs or similar on the device and delete them. We have found that SOS reports and most logging across a number of our sites sit in memory instead of on disk.

Thanks guys, we had some success and then some failures. The install process went fine and was shown to install all packages 100% successfuly. On revisiting the Blades tab there were a number of package conflicts presented. All are "warnings" and not errors however so we will continue on and see where we end up!

Thanks again for the help.

We are now into the text based GUI, unfortunately I am trying to talk someone else through the process remotely so delays are inevitable.

Thanks for the help!

Mitel Software Applications / MSL and MiCollab Install on Hyper-V
« on: November 12, 2015, 05:33:40 PM »
Hi all,

I am trying to help a client install MSL and MiCollab onto a hyper-V environment. MSL is on but only shows a command line. Documentation that I have found seems to indicate the presence of a GUI to be able to open the blades manager page to install MiCollab from there.

Any pointers in the right direction would be greatly appreciated!
