My tech didn't see/couldn't find a setting just for Conference Calls.    He said there was a setting but it would effect all calls coming across the PRI.   Mitel support was no help at all.

Its only in the conference bridge, not on normal calls.   Normal calls don't have the poor audio condition.   Processor and PRI card have already been replace...I'm grasping at straws, because I know AT&T isn't going to kill themselves to find the issue.

Using the internal bridge with a 10 channel AT&T BVOIP PRI, delivered via Fiber.   No other traffic is on the connection except for the voice.

Client complains or poor audio in the bridge, static and low volume.   We have replaced the PRI card and the processor and have AT&T looking at the PRI/running a log capture  We are unable to duplicate after numerous tests,   AT&T also can't duplicate.   

I thought maybe a bad channel, but we've loaded the bridge up with 10 users and still can't duplicate. 

Any thoughts?

Are you connect to a Mivoice Connect or MiCloud Connect system?   We sell the Cloud product and that is normal behavior, but the app will launch when running the background and/or when the phone is locked. 

We see 2 sets of behavior.  Usually the app will pop but sometimes if the data stream is delayed, the Iphone processes the call in what looks like a native IOS call screen, but the contacts button is replaced with a Mitel logo.   Hard to explain but you will know it when you see it.  You can then answer the call and f you want to populate to the App, you hit that button,.

Most likely the tape is the media that is playing.   The 250 also has an option for File Based MOH, but it requires a license.

Power it down, call into the system, and place yourself on hold.   If you hear nothing, then you have your answer.

MiVoice Office 250/Mitel 5000 / Feature Request - Any Success

Wondering about people's success with feature requests from Mitel.   I put in a request for a Phone Manager Mobile feature, and even though Xarios owns that product,  it had to run through Mitel.

The request was to be able to answer a Phone Manager Mobile Call on the locked screen, rather that tapping the notification, unlocking the phone, and then answering.   Pretty straight forward request and other Mobile Soft-phone Apps already support this.

Let me know if you have had success in the past, and if you want to jump on to this feature request please do.   Squeaky wheel gets the grease.

Maybe their STEP Timer in the DEE tab on the Webportal.   Is the timer so long, that the cell Vmail is catching the call prior to it being pulled back?

This is the Connect Cloud Product. 

Log into your portal.   Hover over your name ont he top right and click on Phone Settings.

Click on Call Routing.   Change where incoming calls are routed to.    Select Always Forward Calls to (Another Number) and enter your Cell Phone.

Click Save.

Hunt Group Calls will not forward, only calls to your DID or transferred calls to your EXT.

If you have Hunt Groups built you should revise your Main Greeting, have that answer and distribute calls.  This way calls will ring direct to an Extension, and out to a cell phone. 

To contact support directly, hit the key next to the 1 that looks like a person, and the the HELP softkey.   This will put you into direct contact with Mitel Support.

Is anyone else seeing failures of the Compact Flash?  We are seeing a few a month, usually due to power failures (and a dead battery back up), but the latest once just happened after a remote restart.

When the fail, basically they become corrupt and need to be replaced.

There are local settings in the phone for time/date, you may want to take a look at those.   We had some phones that pulled the time via SNTP and others that just wouldn't.   I think the issue was they were set to us a time server, but different time servers.   

Once we changed all of the phones to use the same time server (Googles) our issue went away.

Are you saying you have a way to get Platronics Headsets to answer from the headset itself without a lifter?  If so. please let me know, as we have never been able to as it is my understanding that the 5300/8500 series phones don't support EHS.    We always program a Headset toggle but they the use has to use the Speaker Key to answer and hang up.

Would be a game changer as the Integrated Headsets are few and far between for the 5300s.

Pretty sure that is a rebranded Bogen device model ADP1.  Those are available everywhere.

I don't think so as all of our 5330/5340 units have the same markings, and we are a dealer.   Pulled a brand new on out of the box, and it has the RA designation.

That being said, the date code gives you some manufacturing info.  Im not saying it si used/refurbed, it could be aged new stock.
