Hi Guys,

Does anyone know how I can configure MiContact Center 9.2.3 with a MiVB 9.2 to get an ACD queue with more than 4 messages? Customer has given me 6 messages they want to be played, each over 30 seconds long with UPiQ required as well and I am not sure if this is possible. I am trying to see if I can use the IVR feature of the MiContact Center to do this but not sure how to do that either. Any suggestions welcomed.

Thanks,
Gerry

Ethernet Crossover cable (not a std. cable) and can be located up to 30 meters (100 feet) long. Connect the ASU-II to the CIM 1 port then power up the ASU-II and the controller will auto-detect it.

The built-in HELP screen on the 3300 should be able to guide you from here.

When you run the EX Controller Deployment tool there is the option to configure the WAN port. This is in the "EX Controller Installation and Administration Guide"

I found where the problem was with the UPiQ workflow, the subroutine was not assigned to the flow, all working now, thanks.

Hi Guys,

I need some guidance with UPiQ setup (I have the default one in place), does anyone know of a step by step document somewhere that shows this? I think I have it done correctly but for some reason it is not cutting in as expected so i must have missed something important.

johnp,

The VM ports were set to Make Busy somehow, still not sure how that happened but once we were able to disable the Make Busy from the ports the voicemail hunt group was accepting calls again.

All,

Thanks for your input... we discovered that somehow all of the VM ports have been placed into Make Busy mode!
They do not have ACD agents so I never even though of Make Busy but once I did a remote clear all features on the VM ports the calls were then answered correctly. Very odd that if you called the VM port directly it still picked up the calls even when in Make Busy mode as well.

All's well that ends well!

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / 48 PKM button numbering
« on: September 02, 2021, 10:12:24 AM »
Hi Guys,

Can someone confirm for me the key numbering sequence for these PKMs? I believe it is start bottom left key to the top of the left then starts the next row at the bottom etc, is that correct? I haven't programmed one of these is years!

Have sent a backup of the PBX to Mitel support and they are going to look at it in their lab environment now... will let you know what they discover.
Was thinking to do a software upgrade to see if there is some sort of database issue but then a restore of the database that i have already done to my lab PBX should have the same effect.

Yes the Hunt Group is set as VoiceMail.

I have built a new hunt group and COS, removed the VM ports from the original hunt group and put them in the new hunt group and assigned them the new COS as well... same problem.  :-\

Hi Guys,

I have a PBX that the Embedded VM Hunt group is always busy even though the individual VM Port numbers can be dialed and answer every time. I have rebuilt the entire VM with new numbers for the port and for the hunt group but with the same result.
Confirmed that the COS for the VM ports is set with the COV/ONS/E&M Voice Mail Port  = Yes, Message Waiting = Yes, Voice Mail Softkey = Yes and everything else left defaults.
Feature access codes have been entered and are working correctly.
Many system reboots have happened but no idea what is causing this as yet. Suggestions welcomed!

You are 100% correct JohnP, I found that they had not removed one of the analog extensions from the expansion board and I was only looking at the trunks. Once I remove the analog extension I was able to change the programming type from Expanded to Embedded which cleared the problem.

Thanks for your input, it pointed me in the right direction for sure, I should have found this extension before!

Sorry, I think I misunderstood what the tech was telling me. Looks like they actually took a backup from a CX controller that had two analog boards installed and then restored this to a CX-II controller which does NOT have a second card installed as a part of a migration to MiVB 9 software. This has caused the programming for the trunks to include the second slot but the hardware modules does not have this card available for me to remove even though I have removed any programming from the Trunks themselves.
