Is there a way on either the 8622 or the 5320e to make it show Do Not Disturb when the DND key is pressed? Currently if I press it it says *DND ON* then flashes away. I want it to stay on when DND is pressed. Keep in mind this is all in effort to move to the asterisk system and save money by utilizing the mitel phones. I have them working in every feature except this DND. My only goal is to get the user to have some type of display that stays up that says DND.

The Asterisk code for DND sis *76 however it appears that Mitel does not like reading the BLF code that works on asterisks phones liek CISCO,YEALINK, DIGIUM, etc.

Any advice?

Got remote phones booting up now saying "Looking for IP Card" any ideas? I verified that their access from remote can ping the phone server and all ports open for it.

I figured it out. I had to enable NAT in the 5000 for that particular phone.

It is only affecting the 5320 phone.

Now me coming from a background of Asterisk and SIP I must ask..

Is there any type of STUN server input anywhere?

The remote location need any ports open?

So when I call that phone extension the phone rings. THe person picks up and I can hear them but they cannot hear me.

Turns out LLDP is scary. it some how replicated to the POE switch and was telling it to look on VLAN2. SURPRISE!!!!

To make things really awesome. Now all of my 5320 phones are pulling weird stuff.

They are booting up and thinking they are on VLAN 2 then just sit there at DHCP: Discovery. I have no VLANS currently. I removed all of them. LLDP is disabled on everything. It is back to what it used to be.

Funny thing.....
If I plug into another switch it works.
