We have an issue that has come up over the last few weeks, where a caller (Either on a Mitel 5330e or Mitel UC360 phone) is on a conference call,  the sound cuts out. The phone is connected, but they cannot hear, or be heard. Then it either comes back, or they have to dial back in to get connected correctly.

It occurs with incoming, and out going calls.
It could last 5 or 10 seconds, then the audio returns.

How do you trouble shoot this sort of thing? Is there a log file that may reveal the problem?

Ralph, can you tell me please how to go about reading the log files you mention? Is this the area? I see activity which I highlighted around the day and time of log out of hot desk.

We have a user that gets booted off the system at 3:00 am. Not every time though, and only one user.

When he tries to log back in, he gets a "Extension in Use".

What could cause this and are there any logs that may help?

I noticed I can enable the screen saver on the 5300e phones. The question is can I change it across the enterprise? Do I have to buy a license? I found a app called Live Application Builder that allowed me to upload a company image, and "Install" it on the MCD.  However I am stuck at that point.  Looking at the MCD I do not see anywhere called screen saver. Under licensing, I see a category under users called HTML applications. It is set to zero. I see I can do a 90 day eval in there. Does that turn it on?

I am not a daily admin so please dummy up the answer for me. Thank you.
