Mitel Software Applications / Dialling tone when Dialling from MiCollab

Hi All,
Have just had a new MiTel system installed, and we are having a few issues.
One of the more cosmetic issues is that when a softphone user initiates a call from their MiCollab client they are hearing silence on their headsets. They then only know for sure that they have called the number when the other end picks up. This is happening when they call internally or externally.
If they then log into a desk phone it works fine!
Has anyone else had this issue, and managed to solve it?
