MiVoice Office 250/Mitel 5000 / 5603 IPDect replacement

Hello,

I have to swap a new 5603 handset with an existing faulty handset.  This is my first time dealing with dect handsets on the Mitel 5000.  I haven't been able to work out how to generate an ac or park code.  The site has 8 dect bases (not sure of the model number).  Could someone step me through the process of swapping dect handset out?  Or point me to a document that outlines the process?

Hello,


I have two networked sites with all calls going to Site A.  Reception at Site A is in a hunt group with reception at Site B.  When Site A goes to lunch, she logs out of the hunt group and rings Site B to log in.  Site B then receives all incoming calls.

When Site B is receiving calls across the network, the incoming caller id does not appear on her display, only the number of Site A.  Is there anyway of programming the caller id to show up across the network?

The other issue is moh when dialing from an ext on Site A to Site B (or vice-versa) and being placed on hold.  There is only silence.  I must be missing the MOH setting somewhere.

Hello,

I'm trying set up a remote teleworker handset to work within our office without toggling the nat/native setting.
I would like to leave it working in the office 95% of the time and use it remotely the other 5%.

Is this possible?

Hello,

We have two users who are required to record all outgoing calls.  Does anyone know of a way to have the calls record automatically as opposed to pressing the call record button every phone call?

Will Class of service Toll restriction work for this?  Or only for outgoing calls?

Hello all,

I'll try to explain the situation the best I can.

We have a client who has a sub-tenant in their premise. The sub-tenant wants a handset but our client does not want the sub-tenant to be allowed to dial all internal extensions, only a select few.  Does anyone know of a way to restrict which internal extensions can be dialled by the sub-tenant?

MiVoice Office 250/Mitel 5000 / Preview before dialling

Hello,

I have a client who would like to preview the number before they dial.  They have an issue where they will start to dial then look away from the phone to look at the number and the phone will time out before they can continue dialling.  I know that I can adjust the timers but I was hoping there might be a feature that I haven't found that allows for preview dialling.  This is a feature that can be toggled on or off on another brand of system that I've worked on in the past.
