Hello all: MAS v4.0.113.0 with Nupoint Build: 15.1.0.14.01: we have configured the voicemail to email feature, and wondering where we can change the sender domain info.  Not sure where to do this.

Currently whenyou receive the email, it is using something like 2045551234 [CLID_2045551234@domain.com]  Would like to change the domain as long as it does not affect the operation of the system.

Anyone know if and where this can be changed?

Hello: ok there appears to have been an issue when we upgraded the MAS server.  For the lines that are not working with the UCA client, when you look at the "Phones" tab on the MAS, the lines are showing to be on the wrong MCD.  Now this does not appear to affect anything except the UCA client.

According to Mitel there is not way to fix this, except by deleting and re-adding the phone line, and ensure that it shows to the proper MCD location.

Major groan.

Hello again: spoke too soon, this is working on 3 of 4 3300, but the 4th is not, still getting "no lines available".  checked all the subnet stuff and it is like the other 3. 

Any more ideas?  Our Mitel provideer is scratching his head as well.  The presence indicators are working.

I take it the UCA needs to connect to the local 3300, and something is getting in the way?

Hello all: we now have one MAS 4 VMware machine and UCA 5 windows clients in our private network with 4 ICP 3300 nodes.  Each of the 4 ICPs are on different subnets in our private network.  MCPs are all at v5

Any  UCA client on the same subnet as the main 3300 works with any other UCA user on that subnet.  UCA users from the other subnets get "Failed to dial No more lines avaiable on device" popup when trying to call a fellow UCA user on their or  * any * subnet.

Any ideas?  I suspect something is not setup right on the other ICPs, or the single UCA server has permission problems with the other ICPs?

Mitel Software Applications / MAS 4.0 change users UCA login id or username

Hello all: was just upgraded to MAS 4.0 with UCA.  3300 are at MCD 5 sp1 Our old accounts were pulled into the central "users and services". 

We now want a diferent authentication "login" for each user, and being told:

"You would need to delete the user and reprogram to change the login ID. It is the anchor piece of data for a user, and as such cannot be modified."

What the fudge ???

Is this correct?  So if someone say gets married, and changes their name, you cannot update the login username ??

Hope this info is wrong.

Also has anyone got the Actve Directory integration ?

Hello: thanx for the post, but what about "Mitel Enterprise Mgr"? 

Would that not put us in front of "one piece of glass" (as the expression goes) to manage my 4 x 3300 + 1 NuPoint + 1 UCA, all with Microsoft Active Directory integration ??

Hello NuPoint experts: one of our users wants to know if you can interrupt (intercept?) a voicemail in progress to talk with the caller? 

I guess we had that feature on our old Nortel Flash vm system.

Hello all you Mitel experts: we have a 4 x 3300 (one per city) cluster with 1 NuPoint voicemail and yet to be implemented UCA.  We had all this installed Oct 2010, so still coming up to speed.

Question: does Mitel offer a centralized mgmt platform so that we only need to go to one place to add/change/delete users?  I think the "Ops Manager" is supposed to do this, but not sure if it still mainstream?  We were not sold Ops Manager.  We also are looking for Microsoft Active Directory integration to assist in adding users.

Comments?  Is a future version of this mitel environment going to improve/include centralized management?

Hello all: could not find this in a search:  We have Nupoint Build: 14.1.0.45.01 and want to know if the Nupoit voicemail emulate the Nortel Flash voicemail command set (eg "7" to delete, "9" to keep etc) ?? 

If so, where can this be changed in the system?

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / 5330 backlight control

Hello from novice admin: we have a user who cannot set his 5330 backlight to "off" after the timeout.  It worked for a month, and now the backlight is always on.  We swapped in a new 5330 and no difference.  I would like to know if there is a setting on the 3300 that is preventing his backlight from going off?

Hello all: we are using a single NuPoint server for 4 time zones.  We have a 3300 in each time zone.

Where in the Call Director / Call Flow setup to you allow for the different time zones?
