I also had the issue with the messages
L2&Boot download error
and following that
Main unavailable
Resetting phone...
On my phone I was able to resolve this problem.
It turned out that I had the wrong port set in the network settings. After I blanked out this setting (and the device returned to use the standard port) it worked flawlessly again.
