Hello, I am using a Mitel 5000 system with NuPoint voicemail. I'm setting up a new phone and a voicemail, but the problem I'm having is that inside calls are not forwarding to voicemail, but outside calls are. I've set up new phones before with no problem but for some reason this has come up. Any help would greatly be appreciated. Thanks.

I'm looking in the routing tables, and I don't see any + or E. I'm looking in the Trunk-Related Information section. Am I looking in the correct spot? Thanks?

No, each call routing table, the field "Call Routing Key" is set to Trunk Number. All our lines Ring-In Types are single also, if that makes a difference.

If I go into Numbering Plan and look at the Local group, the dialing pattern is set as N+. Not sure if that is related. When calling, it is always going to the same wrong room. Sorry, I don't really know the in's and out's of the Mitel 5000 program. Just learning as problems come up. Sorry and thanks.

Hello, I work at a assistant living organization. For our phone systems, we use a Mitel 5000 v6.0.11.100. We have an issue with a certain room where outside calls to the room work just fine. But a call from the inside the building, using the same number, goes go to a completely different apartment. I checked the call routing tables, and everything looks correct. Is there something I'm missing on what could be causing this issue? Calls to the room by extension go to the correct location. Again, if I call from my cell phone, the call goes to the correct room as well. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank in advance. Also any questions, please post, thanks.

I see that for the mailbox for that extension, its uses a 46- Call Director class of service feature. Is that anything to do with it?

Ok, I see it, but nothing seems configured in there. Would there be any other logical location where this would be? The call flow is just default at the moment. Thanks for the help though.

Hello,

At the company I work for, we use a Mitel 5000 phone system with Nu Point for voicemail, etc. For our store, we use a voicemail menu when customers call in that has options on where they will be transferred to depending on their needs. For example, press 1 for front register, 2 for restaurant, ... etc. I can see on the Mitel 5000 system where the SIP Call Routing Announcement's are located, but I don't know where the menu would be set up so the digit translation would be configured? I looked in the Mitel system, but didn't find anything. Also looked in Nu Point but still nothing. Any help would be very much appreciated.

Also have at least one voice mail working on one of the phones. Or even both if possible? But I'm just shooting for one, the user will have to deal with it. Again using Nu Point and Mitel 5000 version 4.0.3.105. Thanks a bunch

Worked perfectly, thank you for all the help you guys have given me. I also have another question about hunt groups. Is it possible to have a call from inside the building, by the extension number, to go to two extensions (ie. two separate phones)? Thanks again.

We use NuPoint because this Mitel system is a newer system. We already had the voice mail working with are other system, so we just continued using it. Thanks, I work tomorrow, I'll see if I can figure it out. If not, I'll re-post on here. Thanks for the help.

Yes, we are using NuPoint for the voice mail. That's why this is such a pain. Mitel 5000 is a newer system, we use to only have a older Axess One
