Yeah, I tried pool.ntp.org and a bunch of other IPs/domains and no luck.  Very bizarre...
Hmm... have you wiresharked it? Are you sure the phone is trying and that is using the proper gateway?

Wireshark is a VoIP tech's best friend. :)

I guess I'll have to wireshark it.  Not sure how often it makes an SNTP request, but I'll just wireshark a boot up sequence and see what I can get.

Hi all,

I've converted a bunch of Mitel 5330 handsets to SIP.  I have set the NTP server to a whole bunch of different things (straight IP addresses, FQDN entries) and they don't seem to update the time on the display.

I've even tried updating the NTP server address in the web interface of the phone to no avail.

I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced this and may have a magical solution.

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / Connecting to SQL database from voicemail

Hi all,

I've just started working with a company that has a Mitel 3300 installed.

In the past I've worked with Avaya IP Office whose voicemail pro system had a way to connect to an SQL (ODBC) database and actually perform queries and modify workflows based on the results.  Using that ability, I built my own conferencing system just using the voicemail pro.

I was wondering if Mitel 3300 had the same ability?  Can workflows in the voicemail system connect to an SQL database and perform queries?
