Good Sirs,

I am not sure where to start on tracking this odd issue. I have been told by two users that sometimes when they call out to external number the name showing is different from what we have setup on the Server. Both have a DID of their own and its currently setup to show as the outgoing number. Im checking the smdr logs but all I can see are numbers? Is this an issue with our carrier or the other/called party's carrier? I'm not sure how this works with mitel with the caller name.

Where can I check that and how can I confirm?

Hello Good Sirs,

I got a question with the Micollab client latest version 10.1.9 (build: 106554), I'm doing some test with securing our infrastructure that communicates to outside LAN to WAN and my issue now is that, I am getting registration lost when enabling our softphone inside our network and it doesnt matter if I have the teleworker on or off but If I used outside network it works fine. Is micollab doing some preliminary check with 3rd party or external mitel server before it enable the softphone capability of the client? I can see on the traffic log that its trying to communicate on 5061 port on a WAN ip, that IP is on a cloudproxy and cant confirm the legitimacy and if its legit I would rather allow its FQDN address to avoid ip changes issue on their side.

Found the problem, on the MBG server I checked the extension's teleworker profile I changed the user id of the set aside authentication, it has to be the same as icp side authentication. It was creating a different username. I reset the password too just to be sure.

I'm not sure if that is the right way to do it or should have I just need to use the default user account that the system generated when it created the teleworker profile but it worked so I'm good with that.

As usual, thanks for all the help guys. You guys always point me to the right direction to troubleshoot.

Are we talking about this teleworker settings here on the micollab server?  See attachment.

All necessary ports are open we have a couple of deskphone in teleworker mode connected via MBG. There are confusing options like, do i need to use TLS for the SIP connection and use port 5061 or leave it as UDP and use port 5060. The part for SIP Authentication password, do I use the teleworker pw, the TUI, or the SIP Password. I tried all of them and it still wont register.

Good Day sirs,

Im trying to get the Grandstream HT802V2 configured to work with MBG, what im doing is to have an analog phone at a remote location to have a working line connected to our pbx. What i'm setting up is to have the SIP ATA authenticate to Mitel Border Gateway and get an extension working for the analog phone. Can you provide me some insight on the configuration i needed to make it work. if I set it up inside our network I can get it to work just fine but having it to go through the MBG is a different case. Im not sure what im doing wrong or not doing at all.

Im trying to get the MICC default page that shows  "Windows Server" and "Internet Information Service". I want to hide it so that if they access micc page using the fqdn name only without adding ignite or ccmweb. It gets redirected to either Ignite or just say forbidden.

Any Idea about how to do that. I tried to do the http redirect and have it go to ignite but it ends up like looping.

I mean, if we dont use the option to log out the last peron. Is there any other solution?

What would be the best setup for this then, in our case that we cant have the "ACD Make Last Agent Unavailable on No Answer" enabled. How do I deal with calls already ringing on an ACD agent that already went home.

11
There's a setting in System Options ACD Make Last Agent Unavailable on No Answer - it would affect the settings on all of your queues. The only catch is if they're on Make Busy it's not going to send the agent the call to miss but still keep the queue open.

If there is a call waiting in queue and the agent is on make busy then would the interflow kick in?

12
Additional Question, If we change it so that it will log out the last agent. Will that affect Hot Desk users and get logged out when they missed a call?

13
If the last agent stays logged in and does not answer the call do you want them to be logged out so the calls with follow path unavailable?

If it only take effect on a specific queue and only just that one queue the agent belongs to then yes, but if it will affect the the other department's queue then that's something that I want to avoid. Its not something I can decide by myself if that will be the case.

14
We have a department that is 24/7 and has 3 different queue for 3 different teams. By default our the Last agent logged in will not be logged out if a call comes in. I setup an "interflow" and there is No overflow but there is "path unavailable answer point directory number" to try and have some sort of reroute when no one is answering.

The Issue I have during testing is that, the interflow only works if if there is an active call and the agent is busy. if the phone is just ringing then the call is stuck to the phone. When there is no agent logged in the path unavailable reroute works. Its the scenario that the calls is just ringing to an agent that I need to work out.

Is there something I am not doing right? Is there any other solution beside changing the system wide settings to allow last agent logged in to be logged out?

Mitel Software Applications / Micollab Messages Dictionary

Is there a way to edit the dictionary that is built in to the micollab application? We have someone added a misspelled word to the dictionary and wants to remove it.
