Hello,

I logged into a clients 3300 and when I went to the Maintenance Commands form the response window started filling with the Following report info.

I am not sure what report this is so I am not sure how to shut it off. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

So I do have to cluster the 2 controllers? Sorry for simple questions. I am fairly new to this and have never setup a cluster or resilient systems.

I have a new client that has purchased 2 Mitel 3300 CXii controllers and one of them is supposed to be an Analog Survivable Branch Office. I have never set this up before. Do the 2 controllers need to be clustered? Do I need to setup group licensing in the AMC or do I just apply the licenses I need to each machine? Does anyone know of any documentation for setting up this kind of configuration?

you can ignore this. After working with the client we found some old notes saying that we had not got this working and went with another option. everything is now working the way the client wants and this is not an issue anymore. Thanks for the responses.

I have a NuPoint system setup to a 3300. The main number (5001) is set to run through a call director. First it goes to caller ID filter to block a number. Then it goes through a schedule for daily hours. Off hours is sent to the afterhours mailbox. The On hours is sent to a phantom ext. (5*001) that is setup as an appearance on the 3 front desk phones. They all ring fine. If no one answers I have setup a second mailbox (50001) that is the Daytime call director with a menu giving the caller a few options. I made the daytime mailbox 50001 because it would let me make a mailbox 5*001. So in the daytime mailbox 50001 I have set the ext as 5*001 and the alt. ext. 1 to 50001 so that when the first call flow transfers to 5*001 the missed calls should go to the mailbox. Right now if a call is missed the caller hears “Welcome to the Message center Please enter the mailbox you want” instead of going to the 50001 mailbox. I have tested by typing 50001 it goes to the mailbox and I hear the menu and the menu works fine. I just can’t get the call to go to that mailbox on its own. I am not sure what I am missing.

Can someone please explain how the class of Restriction programming works. I have found the Class of Restriction Groups form but I am not sure how to program the setting. This page is just numbers and I cannot seem to understand how this works. I have read the help page in the 3300 and I still don't understand it. Thanks for any help you can give me.

Ralph I tried the "Replace the CLID" suggestion but that didn't fix the issue.

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / Trouble conferencing with Long Distance numbers

I have a Polycom Sound Station 6000 I can place long distance calls with it but if I have a call going and I try to conference in another call that is long distance I dial the 9 to get the outside line then a 1 for the long distance then I can dial 9 numbers but when I dial the 10th number it errors out.  I have tried this with the Mitel desk phones I have on site and they can do the conference no problem.
