Mitel Software Applications / UCA scrolling is slow

We are using UCA Version 6.0 SP1.  We have a few dozen users in our Corporate Directory, and when the user scrolls, it takes a few seconds to refresh the statuses and pull in the status message.  Then it reformats the view to fit images and messages, which shifts the list again.  It takes much longer to find a user and look at their status than it should.

Is this an issue for anyone else?  Any ideas on how to solve the problem?

Mitel Software Applications / Softphone ringer volume

We just set up our first remote user with a softphone, and she's noticed a few differences that I'd like to see if we can solve.

1. The ringer volume is much higher than the voice volume.
2. When she makes an outbound call, she does not hear a ringing sound, it's just no sound until the person on the other end picks up.

I haven't been able to find a place to adjust either of these in the UCA.  Any ideas?  We are using UCA Version 6.0 SP1 -- October 2013.

That's what we thought, but wouldn't changing the password from the server, and then having her reset her password on her PC solve that problem?

We're now thinking that the problem might be on her client on her PC.  Is there a way to reset her profile locally?

Mitel Software Applications / UCA user gets logged out

We have one user who is getting automatically logged out of the UCA at about the same time every day.  After a couple of minutes, the UCA automatically logs her in again. We've reset her password, thinking that she might have saved her login on another PC, but that did not solve the problem.

Any ideas as to what could be happening, or what else to look for?

This problem is solved now.  Another admin worked on her account to set extension up as an ACD agent, and in the process changed the name to match the UCA.  I think that this name change may have been the issue.

Mitel Software Applications / UCA user does not refresh

I'm new to the Mitel forums, but was unable to find this specific issue in search, so hopefully I can get some help here.

I have one user who cannot refresh her status in the UCA.  She is able to log in, and when she does, the status is set to "Gone for the day".  She sees the corporate directory, but when she changes status, it shows the change at the top of her window, but does not change in the directory view below.  In addition, when she exits and comes back in, it always goes back to "Gone for the day".

She had edited the default statuses so that the "In the office" status was renamed to "Gone for the day".  She now longer even has a status available that says "Gone for the day", but that is what she shows up as in the directory.

Also, when she edits the free form status field, it does not reflect in the directory.

I don't know exactly what changes she had made to her statuses, but that seems to be the culprit.  I'd like to know how to fix this problem, and how to avoid it in the future.
