Mitel Software Applications / Mitel Border gateway

Hi,

we currently have a Mitel 5000, with Mitel UCA, we also have a border gateway in place for external users

The problem I have is the SIP phones only stay connected via the border gateway for a few minutes before the connection is lost - which is a little annoying, the Mitel system states the phones are not reachable, yet you can clearly see a ringing status on the UCA App and you are then notified of a missed call - I've also tried connecting using generic SIP apps on both android and IPhone with the same results

after digging around the borer gateway I ran the diagnostics test and there is a fail on the basic SIP connectivity - I've attached the error

Does anyone know if this is the cause of these issues?

Thanks That's helped clear a few things up, I think we are running  6.0 SP1 PR4 (Release 48)

do you know if there are any limits to the length of the audio clip?

Hi,

I'm looking to implement our own audio file for meet me conferencing ( Audio for first party ), we have once license for file based MOH

I've found the tool built into the system administration and Diagnostics tool to convert an Audio file to MOH,

I'm not sure where to load the file - I wandered if anyone could confirm it loads into System > file based MOH

Then once loaded in here will should I then be able to assign it in System > Conference related information > audio for first party

With regards to the 75 ip phones - is that for the system as a whole or just for the members lists?

From the Help: "When using an extension list for ring-in or hunt groups, do not exceed 30 phones per list. The system can send ring signal to up to 30 phones."

So from that, it's safe to assume that's 30 phones total throughout the system. How many phones do you have in total and what type? (Digital, IP, analog)

We have 131 ip phones, 20 SIP mobiles and one analogue device

30 just seems like a really low number for a hunt group - I really thought a system like the 5000 could do more...

Recently had a Mitel 5000 system installed - with UCA, MBG, MAS, and CSM

We have 131 phones and have just had a pec-1 card installed

We have a linear UCD hunt group that begins with 27 phones ringing (part of a hunt group extension list)

after the no answer advance timer expires (8 seconds) - it moves to the next hunt group extension list - this has 52 phones in it.

We have been experiencing problems on the first hunt group extension list, where a call cannot be answered - I have since been told by our supplier that the limit is 30 phones in a hunt group extension list and that this could be the cause of the problem - I am a little confused though as it is happening on the list that has 27 phones?

Just wondered Has anyone else encountered this sort of problem or had a solution provided?
