Thanks acejavelin,

I am going to recommend a new PBX to be installed, the thing seems to be on its last legs.

Thanks Lundah,

Its my suggestion to the customer as well as I am struggling to pin point the source of the problem here.

Hi all,

Could anyone help me please! I have a site with an old LX controller on 7.1.4.9 and recently have had to swap the chassis. I have updated all the firmware etc but I am still having issues with the system randomly rebooting. I determined that it was an issue with something connected to the printer port so removed this but still having issues.

I have completed a system diagnostics report but unfortunately this has also taken this down. The logs show the following

VALID Restart post mortem information follows

I was also connected to the maintenance port at the same time and this showed the following logs when it did go down:

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / Re: Strange logs on 3300 LX Controller
« on: February 24, 2017, 10:08:51 AM »
Hi acejavelin,

Thanks for coming back to me. I have not performed the "upgrade bootrom all" command, I will do this next time I am on site, many thanks.

I had a complete spare LX controller so i removed the HD, i button and the DSP modules but to be honest I think some of these may have fried too as I had an error with the DSP's the other day that needed a reboot of the system to clear them out.

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / Strange logs on 3300 LX Controller
« on: February 24, 2017, 06:27:02 AM »
Hi all,

Wondering if any of you could help. We have an ancient 3300 LX controller which recently the power supply went pop. I have replaced this along with the entire chassis but since then I am getting a few issues which are only resolved with a reboot of the Mitel.

One example is that I am getting hundreds of these logs but struggling to know what this means

Log Type:    Software

I have completed a DBMS check and this is all showing ok but not sure what this log is pointing at.

Many thanks.

Hi,

I am having an issue with a new Mitel 5624 WiFi handset. I have logged this phone on with the correct credentials and the phone is in service.

I can dial the extension internally and externally but when I try to dial out from the handset, either internally or to an external number I get "Call Failed"

I can ping the PBX and also connection to the 5624 GUI. In here the logs are showing the following incident.

2016-05-11 15:55:30.560,250 - Call disconnected. Cause: 0x29

Could anyone help me with this and see what could be causing this issue?

Thanks all

Think I may have solved the issue, the connection problem was when the phone was in idle and was roaming through the WiFi network. The connection dropped and then had to wait for 5 seconds to reconnect to the AP.

I changed the 802.11 protocol from 802.11b/g/n to 802.11b/g.

This seemed to have worked and when carrying out further testing I could not replicate the fault after this.

If anyone else is getting stuck I would give that a try.

Hi all,

Just wondering if someone could give me a pointer to the issue I am having?

I have a SX2000 Light Non-Redundant PBX which seems to have the maintenance port locked out and unresponsive. I have tried connecting via a tracker and direct on the port with the same issue.

I have rebooted the PBX twice and also via a scheduled reboot but I am still not getting any response.

Does anyone have any ideas or is replacing the card my last option?

Thanks all.

Thanks for this. Could you let me know the parameters you have set via the WinPDM?

I have chopped and changed so many of these now I have lost count!

Thanks for all your suggestions. This seems to be happening to another site I have just installed these 5624 handsets. It looks like a roaming issue between AP's as I can see the signal strength dropping when switching from AP to AP in the site survey mode.

I will keep digging.

Mitel Software Applications / Lifecycle Reports - Contact Centre
« on: December 07, 2015, 05:55:01 AM »
Hi experts  :)

Could someone please help me! I am setting up lifecycle reports on the Contact Centre via YourSite Explorer and although the reports are there and I can see all aspects of the call, what I cannot see are the call notes. All I get in the notes is the name of the queue with the words "Missing Resource"

Could anyone point me in the right direction so the reports show the call notes?

Mitel SX200, SX2000, and older SX platforms / Mitel SX2000 HTL Commands
« on: September 17, 2015, 08:50:04 AM »
Hi all,

I have a few hotel customers on the old SX2000 system and I am after some help in the HTL commands.

I already know a few to see the status and to reset and initalise the link but after that im stuck.

I know one of the options is debug but not sure what to do with that one. I think its to carry out a trace on the link but cannot seem to get this to work.

I cannot find any documentation for the commands in the technicials handbook or the web.

Thanks all.

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / Analog Trunk - Door Entry Phone
« on: June 11, 2015, 04:16:58 AM »
Hi all,

I have a 3300 that has incorporated a door entry system. This is connected via an analog trunk port (ONS) with the built in ports.

The trunk is programmed via the trunk attributes to dial a group of phones. When the door entry button is pressed however no ringing is evident. The door entry installers say that the single pair is generating the voltage for the phones to ring but nothing is heard.

I created a trunk group which seized the analog port and when the door entry is pressed and the trunk seized you have communication across the trunk.

I have changed parameters in the CO Trunk Circuit Descriptor including Ringing Expected amongst others but nothing seems to be working.

 Line Start Type Loop
 Post Call Metering No
 Guard Timer 800
 Calling Party Disconnect No
 Dictation Trunk No
 Ignore Far End Disconnect No
 Disconnect Timer 500
Ignore Far End Reversal During Seizure Yes
 Ringing Expected Yes
 Seize Timer 10
 Address Signalling DTMF
Fake Answer Supervision After Outpulsing Yes
 Ignore Answer Supervision Yes
 Release Supervision Expected Yes
Audio Inhibit Until Answer Supervision Yes
 High Loss Option No
 Balance Network Setting National Complex
 Trunk Category Short
Perform seize test on out-of-service trunks Yes
Ground Condition During Busy Out Removed
First Meter Pulse Is Answer No
 Minimum Ring Detection Timer 200
Drop Digit Rcvr for Outgoing Audio Before Ans Sup No
 Flash Timer 300
 Call Clearing Signal Disconnect
 AC Impedance National
 CLASS Trunk No
 Milliwatt Tone
 Silence Tone

I have also tried to connect the door entry to an analog extension on hotline to the group but that does not work either.

Has anyone else ever come across difficulties with this? Any help would be much appreciated.
