I figured it out. Hunt Group/COS error. Thank you for your help.

Thank you.

No it does not call into the voicemail system if you press the button. The extension does have a message because if you lift the handset and manually call the system - you can access the messages.

I am new to the 3300.

The MWI (envelope button) flashes when a message is left in the mailbox for the extension yet when the user presses the envelope button it does not call the voicemail (embedded). When pressing the button with handset on hook it just displays "No Messages" on the phone display. When you lift the handset and press the button, nothing happens. Is this programmable?

Also, multi color Led is not an option in my class of service form. Is it not available on version 9.0?

Any help would really be appreciated.

Thank you.

Thank you again for your help.

Sorry to be dense, but is the multi color led in another form of the system? I can't find it? Or is it not comparable with the 3300 v.9.0?

Also, the MWI button used to call into the VM system until we did a reset. Is there a place to reprogram?

Thanks Again,
Chris

Thank you.

Do you think it would be beneficial to upgrade to a MCD release?

If so,now would I do it?

Thank you both for your help with these questions.

In working with the COS it defaults to COS 1 for Trunk Assignment and Set Assignment. Should I change a COS for trunks to be assigned to another COS number (2, 3, 4, etc)?

Thank you for being patient with me. I am really wet behind the ears with this.

sarnold - I am currently running 9.0. and it is an analog trunk. The caller ID is coming from the service provider because it shows through their app on my iPhone but it is not going through to the system. I will try the COS Option for the line appearance keys and the Call Coverage option for the voicemail button and post back. Thank you for your response - I really appreciate it!

Good Evening -

I'm still relatively new to this system so I appreciate your help with three issues I seem to not be able to resolve.

First, the "line" key or "directory" key is only lighting orange. It won't light green on any telephones when the user picks up the set. I know there is a setting for this, but for the life of me I can not find it. I've tried google and nothing comes up about this topic.

Second, the message waiting key is not ringing to the voicemail system. You must lift the handset or dial the "500" to get to the voicemail system. Is there a way to program this key to connect to the voicemail system?

And lastly, Caller Id. THIS has been the being of my existence. I have tried everything and it is still just displaying the Trunk label.

Again, any help would be greatly appreciated.

They are the standard L/S ports that come with the controller. The system won't let me assign a trunk number in the database. It throws an error after processing the information that I need to "leave all the fields blank".

Hi all - -

I'm new to the 3300. . .I am having a heck of a time configuring the system to make outgoing calls and receive incoming calls. I have configured the extensions and voice-mail but I am struggling with setting up the system to make and receive telephone calls via a traditional telephone line. Any assitance would be greatly appreciated.

I'm learning, so thank you for being patient and with your assistance.

I recently upgraded from a 3100 to a 3300. I was wondering if someone could help me with something?

How do I get the system to select the LS ports on the controller instead of the T1/E1 port to make outbound calls?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much.

Thank you so very much for your help! It worked. I really appreciate it. Does anyone know where I can purchase or download a copy of the latest software for the system?
